I would stick with regular potting soil.

microwaving slightly moist hulls is faster. the problem with hulls is that they're not a good growing medium even parboiled. up to 25% is ok. really aged hulls (8-10 years) are much better.

Sir, u haven't mentioned it's benefits, why this process is necessary, why v shouldn't use rice husk as it as.. Bz, most of the gardeners suggest to use it in soil media.

It's to reduce any bacteria or insect eggs/larva that could be living in it.

But this hot process will destroy the amount of nutrients whichever is there in it. It is better to dry it in sunlight for few days.

Rice husk ke saath thodese Rice ke tukade bhi mix kiye hue aate hai..Un rice ke tute tukade ko Rice husk mein se remove kaise kare...pls bataye 🙏 thanks 😊

Sun dry is not necessary just dry in any way... (also sun dry like this on the ground with a bit of wind or any bugs is easy to get it infected again with many different diseases)

Yeah this is why I stop using raw rice hulk cause it promotes fungus in soil ,imma try to strerilized my rice hulls.
