I’m originally from Oahu, moved to California for 5 years, and just recently moved to Kauai about 10 months ago, and I’ve got to say you folks have been my go-to UA-cam channel for all things I’ve missed in the mainland! Whenever I worked in San Pedro area, I’d always stop off at Busy Bee no matter what, absolutely miss that place!

My time in The LA area include management gigs at CPK and Rusty Pelican, Togo's was a regular haunt #9 still is the most cravable thing ever. That was 30 years ago! ha. You should have said “it won’t win any beauty contests but it will won its way into my heart!” It sure conquered mine! There’s also a park with a hidden rocky beach about a mile away. It has a really active marine life.

Oh my gosh . You went to my home town . San Pedro. Love Busy Bee. Beef dip or pastrami dip is so good too. Next time eat your sandwich at the Korean Bell very close to Busy Bee. and also love Philly Best steak and mushroom with melted provolone cheese and sauté onions sandwich in Torrance.
I would always get the pastrami with sausage

You guys should try FRUMENTOS in montebello. It's a mini italian market and they sell deli,sandwiches and other italian foods. It's really good.

When you guys travel to Las Vegas do you drive it being around 4-5 hrs away or fly? Stay safe out there and keep the food coming. Surprised you know about Jim's Steaks in Philly! The best.
We fly. We visited Philly and tried a bunch of cheese steaks, we liked Jim's the best.
