Thanks for the guide man. My Pocket Pikachu still worked but it had 3 buttons that weren't responding. I opened it, gave it a deep cleaning, and rubbed the board with with a q-tip soaked in electrical contact cleaner and it's back to 100%.
Thanks for posting this! Mine had stopped working probably about 20 years ago. your video inspired me to take apart the whole thing (even the pendulum-which scared me!) to find that I had forced the reset button in too far when I was a kid, so the connector was always registering it as being pressed. I corrected it and now it works again!
Thanks a lot, i opened mine and the pendulum cable flew away the moment I opened it. Thankfully I was able to find it and after googling I found your video on how it was set up!
