So nice that you showed Cricut and Brother Scan n Cut! I think I will be using the Brother machine so I won't need to use my computer! Thanks for the tips!
Wow, this was a great video! Just what I was looking for and the instructions are spot on. Tried it right away in Design Space and works like a charm. Thank you so much!
This is amazing!! Rare to find videos on this subject of using our Cricut to die cut stamps - I have only started doing stamping within the last 10 months or so. Since I already have a Cricut, and dies / machines are expensive, I couldn’t justify getting into that, too. I still consider myself to be somewhat of a novice with my Cricut but knew there had to be a way to “die cut” my stamps, too. While this video was done 3 years ago & there have been many CDS updates, I’m positive these fantastic instructions will still help me & many others be successful in die-cutting their stamps!
I've been searching for a way to do this for a while. This is the first I've seen that I've been looking for. Thanks so much. I was wondering how you would get it the correct size, so I can't wait to try this.
Genius! I have been searching for a way to die cut my stamps using my cricut! Coordinating die cuts is almost like buying the same item twice! No way! Also most tutorials have us printing and cutting the stamped image uploaded but you can't color them with markers because the inkjet ink will bleed. Thank you so much!!! Problem solved!
WHOLLY COW! This is awesome. I thought I was good with my Cricut but this is a new way I have never used. I have many stamps that I don't own the dies for because that is an extra expense. Now I can use my Cricut to do the die cutting. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
This is great!!! My scanner doesn’t allow to choose a size to scan so I just put a 1” circle already cut in black & scan it with the stamp. Then I just need to resize the image in design space to make sure the size is right. 😀 thanks for this. Many will get good use from this!
I’m so glad found ur video you just saved me a lot money as I was goin to buy a scan n cut to do this . Now I can do it on my cricut maker . Thank u so so much . Subscribe to you . Hope to learn more .
3 years later I am seeing this video. It was the only one that came up in the search. I am just not getting it. You have instructed us perfectly, It’s not you! thanks for the video, I will try until I get it! in the meantime I I’m going to follow you because “The Kraft Therapist!!!”. what a great name. thanks for your video
I've been a Cricut user since the beginning and I'm embarrassed to say that I still don't know everything the machines & DS can do. I've done print & cuts several times from the DS images and now knowing I can use my own stamps!!!! Keionna I just can't thank you enough!!!! You have already taught me SEVERAL things in the short time I've started following you!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!
Wow! What a fantastic tutorial and demonstration on what I can do with my Cricut…..and maybe one day with a Brother Scan & Cut. So happy I discovered your channel!
Thank you soo much for sharing... I appreciate how you take your time to explain the process..My problem is I don't have a scanner.. can I somehow use my iPhone.. not tech savvy at all Thank You
This is very informative. I am saving it so when I get a scan and cut or I will have so very detailed directions to help me out. Otherwise I will have to bother you.
Thanks a lot for this wonderful video! I am deciding between a Scan N Cut and Cricut and this is the best video I have seen so far for my needs. Between the two which one would you recommend? I do not have a scanner, just only a printer. I have seen a lot of recommendations for Cricut than the Brother Scan N Cut. I have a lot of stamps, I would love to cut.
You just saved me from buying a new machine! I have the Cricut Maker and all of the other videos I watched have been time consuming and confusing. I love your way of explaining! I only have one question for you. Is there a way to do this with sentiment stamps? Not sure how to cut them print then cut unless that's exactly what I'd do is stamp them, save as you illustrated then print them out and cut with my dies. Thanks again so very much!!
I am so sorry for the late reply. when I do sentiment stamps I typically draw a line around it to give a bit of a bubble effect and allow it to cut that way, but now you should have the ability to just use the offset function in design space to cut them out.
Fantastic tutorial 😍 I "only" have a scan'n'cut lol. I must say, for me it looks like the scan'n'cut and cricket can almost the same things ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
Keionna, thank you so much for taking the time to make this detailed video and sharing it. I wish I looked this up sooner. I spent so much on those costly dies that matches the stamps. On top of that I had to pay custom fee. So...THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Blessings to you and your family. Subscribed!😊
Fabulous how to tutorial! Thank You. Do you have one on the best, easiest way to actually condition stamps so when they’re stamped we achieve clear crisp results? Again thank you much appreciated…
Hi!!! Sorry I have been on a little hiatus. For conditioning your stamps I typically rub them with my hand or use my embossing stamp pad to do my first stamp which conditions your clear stamps very well.
Thanks for sharing, I have used print and cut and have tried it using one of my stamps. My question for you is there away to get a white border around the image? I was using my Cricut awhile ago and was having trouble with it cutting on certain areas. Thank you for showing where the MORE is located. I was also trying to slice. I finally gave up. I had done it before so don't know what I was doing wrong. But I didn't understand it when you explained it either. Thanks for sharing and happy day to you!
When using the print then cut feature there isn't a way to get the white boarder because you need the bleed to be on in order to ensure the image cuts correctly. The bleed being on makes the ink go all the way to the edge. When using slice make sure you only have 2 layers selected. If an image has multiple layers you would need to ungroup or detach in order to get the layers isolated to only select two of them and slice. I will make sure i go over this in a video next week to show it better
Thank you so much for this video. It is helping me accomplish my goal of making stamping easier by using my Cricut. I love how you stamp the whole page of stamps onto the paper. When I upload my new cut file and change the size to 8.5 by 11, the size of my images no longer matches the size of my stamps. Any suggestions?
That should not be the case. I'm sorry that is happening. Have you ensured your paper size is set correctly in your scanner app? as long as the H and W match on both it should cut out perfect. if you are having more trouble you can PM me and I'll try to help troubleshoot
Keionna, Gr8 tutorial. I do have a question though. On the Cricut cuts that were stamped, it appears that there is a bit of a white outline between the stamped image and the cutline, (as in most stamp sets that come with their own dies). But, on the one that was a print then cut it appears that the cut is directly on the printed line. Any reason that this would happen? Thanks
I think the print then cut gives more of a precise cut especially because you have the option to add a bleed line which is specifically to prevent a white boarder or a mis-cut
This was very definitely helpful and I really appreciate it very much. One question I have, with the SNC, you can give an offset before cutting so you can have the white border around it much like you do with a die, are you able to do that with the cricut? Thanks so much. oxox
You can do that if you are just cutting out the die portion and not using the print then cut feature. You would simply isolate the images and increase the size for how much of a border you want
so if I am understanding this correctly, when scanning, it always must be an 8.5 x 11 document being scanned in order to keep the cut files the exact same size as the stamps you want to use on them????
This is not working with my Epson 2760. Its not saving it to be a normal cut size in Cricut whenever I save it was 8.5x11. It's making the image 8.5x11. Do you have any suggestions?
I have no clue what I am doing wrong. When I cut my stamps. Print and cut. It cuts the boarder not the stamp. Can somone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Are you using the scan n cut? If so there is a setting that you can use to decrease the amount of a boarder you get as a result of the cutting. If you are talking about print then cut I would need a little more information. You can definitely reach me on FB or by email at krafttherapist@gmail.com
Hi Deeheart Studio Art. I can definitely understand the discomfort for some. I am definitely a person who speaks with my hands... a work in progress I guess.

Really informative...Thanks so much! I wasn't sure about cranking that handle on a die cut machine so I was looking for something less physical.
Exactly I have had surgery on both hands so I can't always do a lot so these methods help greatly

Just what I was looking for. Thanks. Is there a step whereby we can add an offset before we cut the images?
Wow, you made that super simple to do! I’ve tried other ways that are way more complicated. TFS ❤️

I’m impressed ☺️. Keionna, can you do this on the Cricut air?
Gayle yes you can because this is all done in Design Space so of course your Cricut Air will be able to cut the images you upload. 😊
You surly can... exact same process
Great tutorial! Thanks, Keionna!
You are welcome
Awesome tutorial Keionna! Just got my first Cricut, and loved your tutorial. TFS
Yay!!! Team cricut....I hope you love yours as much as I love mine. I'll be up to making more tutorials soon. Thanks for stopping by

I'm trying to learn about Cricuts. Ur scanner, is it connected to ur cricut somehow and which Cricut do you recommend today?
Thank you for the great tutorial. Definitely saving this for future reference!!
