I was born in Krakow and I love my 1000 year old city. I wish I could go back . Unfortunately I am being hold hostage by the US government.
How?
What a great city! A wonderful video! Thanks Ela! I'm planning to come there in the second week of June. Perhaps you can show me around 😅❤
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you like the city and I have a feeling you'll love it even more, once you get here. I live in Warsaw though, so won't be able to show you around during the second week of June. I will be in Kraków on Sunday, 23rd of June though and that's when I'll be recording an episode about the Jewish parts of Kraków with my brother (who is the best tour guide I know), if you're around then, you're welcome to join us :)
we're going there soon! thanks!
As always interesting and worth a watch
Muy interesante; me gusto mucho, estuve en varsovia, Gdanks pero quiero conocer cracovia, me encanta la historia; did you do your episode with your brother? I love history thanks
Not yet. I had to juggle few different projects at once, so had less time to focus on the channel. During the summer I will be doing a series about Warsaw and different kinds of places there, and maybe will manage to film the Jewish Kraków in September or October. But till then, check out some of my other videos - I show places like Kazimierz Dolny or Zamość, which are much less known but also very beautiful.
Bardzo lubię te filmy❤
good videos ate ela, we miss you.
I miss you guys too! It’s always more fun in the Philippines!🎉❤
Lo❤e Poland
Interesting. That legend of the dragon and the lottery was made into a Disney movie in 1981 called Dragonslayer.
Wow, I didn’t know - will have to check it out!
Keep rocking ❤wishing you to get 10 00 subscribers soon and 4000 thousand watch hours 🤝🤞
Thank you! Hoping for the best :)

How are you sister?
I’m well, thank you :)
How many Muslim live in Poland?? 👏🇵🇱🇵🇱 nice country 💚💚👏🇵🇱
According to a quick internet search, from 5-25 thousand (there’s no exact data cause many are here just temporarily). Poland is predominantly a Catholic country
You talk about the legend of the Krakow trumpeter, but when during World War II a Polish soldier was in the Far East, this legend was identical with their legend related to their misfortune, because when their ancestors shot the bugler, they thought that they had shot a man calling for prayers and this was related to their a curse. But they cunningly asked the Pole to play the trumpet and then there was silence and everyone dispersed and the curse was removed from their nation. So is it just a lie?🤨
I haven’t heard the legend that you write about. The legend of the Polish trumpeteer goes way back before WWII though, so if these two are related I think the Kraków one is the original.
@@PolandwithEla Yes, there was a reportage of a Polish soldier who went to the East and it fit the legend when their people were attacking the borders of Europe, which was related to their fate and legend for stabbing a trumpeter with an arrow under the walls of a European city
I LOVE POLAND 🇵🇱💓🇵🇱💓🇵🇱💓💗🇧🇩
