Yes, I had as personal speakers the Harbeth 30.1. Even if the Harbeth 30.1 and the Graham LS5/9 are supposedly derived from the same BBC project the sound is quite different. The Harbeth are more 'Musical' or let's say smoother, the Graham are more dinamic and 'Monitor'. Just for giving a rough idea, for rock music I'd prefer the Graham for Jazz/classical the Harbeth, the first is more punching the second more refined. This is just my opinion and experience. They are both excellent speakers.
