Thank you for taking the time to help others. For a long time I was wondering how I could dismount and clean my printhead on my own. I had repetitive problems, clogged nozzles and color dominants for a couple of years. No cleaning cycle would get rid of it. Epson asked for 600€ for a head replacement... basically the price of the printer itself
Thank you for this video. It is very informative. If only Epson would just develop a much better way to clean severely clogged print heads! The print head could be easier to get at or there could be dedicated kits to deliver cleaning solution through the ink delivery system. Or, what about a cleaning routine that only cleans one color head at a time? If I didn't need an inkjet printer, I'd probably never buy another one, considering the ridiculous cost of ink and the ineffective, ink-wasting auto head cleaning routines. Since the industry has us over a barrel, I might try the Epson Photo Eco-Tank.
Caution, this can lead to other random malfunctions.. I was extremely careful, cleaned out the print head this way, and suddenly it shows error code Ox8O. The irreplaceable platen gap sensor? Now it's fit for the recycling depot. At least beforehand it was printing, albeit less than perfectly.
Hello, I just received my unmodified p600 printer and I want to change it to dtf, can you give me the steps to follow to make the modification, and also indicate what products you bought to add to the machine ... thanks. Your video really relieves me, I was scared that I bought this printer and then had the heads clogged.
Great video, thank you! After cleaning the heads and assembling the printer again, I got a 0x44 error. Have you experienced something similar? How did you solve it? Thank you!
@@lorimarlodesignco7776 thank you. I just took off my print head this morning and cleaned it (I actually watch kingdom’s video) but I didn’t took the metal part from the print head. I will do that next time when I clean it.

You have flooded the electronics of the printhead. 2 large connectors. Most likely they burned out at the point of contact. This is error 44.
I come from watching your maintenance video, so my question is even after al the maintenance you hey clogged printheads?
Great question!!! So after my clogged print head issue. I started this cleaning routine and have not had issues since! Hope that helps

Can vary. I would say if you are seeing streaking it’s time. Especially if you haven’t had luck after head cleans
