You need to check out Junior Brown he created his own double neck guitar called the guit steel.Combination guitar and steel quitar. He is an amazing player.
If you haven’t heard it, you should check out the song there will be some changes made by Chet and Mark. The song ends with a more extended instrumental piece but the best part about it is the interplay between them. The song is essentially about check stating that he wants to try being a rockstar and Mark trying to convince him that it’s not really all he thinks it is. It includes Mark telling Chet you’ve played that thing before haven’t you? And chat telling Mark well you’re not bad but you’re no Mark Knopfler.
There is no video I could ever find, but "There'll be some changes made" from this same album has both of them really going the way you expressed... and it almost sounds like a one take recording.
Ummm nice video????? LOLOLOLOL. There are a zillion places ie towns, parks, streets. and lots more stuff named Marion in the U.S. He was a very effective and forward thinking guy. For anyone who has never seen it, back in the day The Walt Disney weekly TV show used to show an episode every week of various serials. Zorro, Texas John Slaughter and others. One of them was The Swamp Fox. You can find some full episodes on UA-cam still. Also in the believe it or not class, the lead actor playing Francis Marion in a fine dramatic performance was a very young Leslie Nielson who of course is a brilliant comedic actor. Give it a watch folks. Just don't let Keith set up the video for you!! Stay safe and well guys.
Walk Of Life predated this by almost a decade. Early and mid 90's is when Chet and Mark collaborated. Chet said in an interview once that Brothers In Arms was his desert island album . You can tell there was mutual admiration between the two. Neck And Neck is well worth a listen.
@@theemaygoogleme151 Well, according to everything I can find online, you would be right, Paul Kennerley is the writer, & it says first release was Mark/Chet in 1990, BUT I have that song on vinyl by a local Texas band called “The last road to Texas band” which had been long disbanded by then- album was released in 1982 (I thought it was older than that) and Paul Kennerley is the credited song writer on the album cover, so 🤷🏼♂️ maybe Mark/Chet was the first major release of the song, but it’s much older than that.
Got one for you guys. I can't afford to bribe you so would you do a mercy reaction? Let's go back before Willie. Listen to Eddy Arnold singing Cattleman's Call. Bet you like it.
LOL, well, it's true. We actually severely limit how much we drink during recording sessions. We've done that since maybe our 20th recording or so. We'd do 15 in a night, drink a full pour from each, and be absolutely fitshaced by the 15th recording. We had to put a stop to that. - Keith
I think Dustin might have watched the Swamp Fox episode. Not sure about Daniel Morgan. I knew about both well prior to the Fat Electrician talking about them. I don't watch his channel. - Keith

Thank you for that reaction I have never heard that song and it was amazing

I'm from South Carolina, where Francis Marion University is. There are definitely a lot of things named "Swamp Fox" after him here.
Great reaction guys. From Alabama to Buena Vista is @154 miles then another 23 miles to Americus (13th Colony distilleries).
13th Colony makes some amazing stuff. - Keith
Good morning everyone
I was puzzled by the goggle search page as the video watching, anyways great reaction great song.

Inspiration for Mark’s (DS) walk of life? I always wondered about that

Reacts to. “He drinks tequila and she talks dirty in Spanish” Sammy and Lorrie.
And if you are going to talk about Special Ops or Rangers the first person to talk about is Roger’s Rules, those are key to operating

These two do an instrumental with acoustic guitars,"II'll see you in my Dreams" It's terrific
Not drunk, just dumb. I believe you! 😂
