I've been a huge fan of this brewing co. since the 90s, but even more so in the last year since I've become a home brewer. Out of two times I emailed SN for recipe info for making clones of their beers, they responded with what I needed plus more information wise. That, to me, speaks volumes... for a company to freely share their recipe info with the public says that they're super confident that they're producing the best quality product possible.
I worked for a beer distributor in SF and in the 90's Sierra Nevada was our biggest selling craft beer with sales of Pale Ale exceeding over 20,000 cases a month. Steve Harrison was our sales rep. Great beer and great owner!!!! 👍
Well done, those guys are doing excellent work considering the size and scale of the operation. It's nice to know that quality has never been compromised.
Drinking a Torpedo right now which is one of my favorites. I love the nooner though. I'll be back in Chico in a couple months definitely stopping by again. I can never leave without a few goodies...
I remember drinking a Sierra Nevada pale ale in Central Park on my first visit to NY in 2000. As a real ale drinker in the U.K. the only other continental beers I had enjoyed were Belgian Trappist style ales. It was really nice to taste a hop forward beer in the sun with the hum of the city in the background. Like the British real ale tradition, you can tell they care about the quality of the product, and they have created a great business with a good philosophy towards the environment.
i live on the east coast so all the sierra nevedas i can get are not 100% fresh still delicious, i took a trip to vegas and was drinking on draft and boy o boy when its fresh quite possibly one of the best APA on the market, straight up classic
@mutez0r you should definitely try them all. they are all worth tasting, but Pale Ale, Celebration Ale, and the wet hop ale are my favorites. i have yet to try Bigfoot and a couple others
Great video Bill! We had a great time at the saint sixtus brewerie in november! I hope we will meet again somewhere in a brewerie! Thijs (Brabander @ beeradvocate)
It seems like they don't distribute to Canada... that's too bad I would buy a case or two of Celebration and always a 6 pack of Pale Ale/Torpedo nearby...
@mossberg451 Well he's sharp enough to own the 6th largest brewery in the U S but I never got a thank you out of him when him his son and some friends was stuck in a blizzard and could have died
The guy talking ruins the video. So many pauses, uh's, stuttering & change in pitch. Holy cow. Brain is running faster than the words can get out of his mouth.
Am I the only one who thinks Ken Grossman's voice is super relaxing?
It made me come on my panties.

Sierra Nevada and Firestone are the best breweries in my opinion! CA all the way!

Loved the place! We were there last year, visiting turned my wife into a Sierra Nevada fan!
Love Ken's ale, which I have consumed since the late 80s.
Ken Grossman seems like the ideal boss and a man that enjoys his work. I'd love to meet him and hear his story!
Wonderful beer. I'm not really a pale ale fan but yours is awesome. Your Bavarian style wheat is my favorite wheat brewed in the States.
An amazing brewery, top notch restaurant, and the best beer on the market!
Awesome video! Love the Pale Ale and the seasonal Celebration Ale... I need to try some more from Sierra Nevada!
I ignored this stuff at the local Target for a long time. I have no idea why; finally tried some and WOW.

Just had the Summerfest. It's awesome extra cold.
Torpedo is excellent....I agree. And if you have the pallet, the BigFoot BarleyWine is the shizzle.

Please SNBC, whatever you do don't get into the bandwagon and change Pale Ale. Respect the classic.

That guy really needs to slow down his talking
The guy talking ruins the video. So many pauses, uh's, stuttering & change in pitch. Holy cow. Brain is running faster than the words can get out of his mouth.
