A Nomad FFA tournament would be so freaking cool! This has to be my favorite game mode to watch. So many crazy plays and so much action!

Yellow fought so hard just to survive. Green seemed inconsequential until they started that campaign against Snoopa in the South. Snoopa became an Empire, but flew too close to the sun. This was more epic than most blockbuster movies.

it always is a great game when at 46mins a wonder goes up in a crazy defended base and the video is still 1hr 26m

This is so cool. Loved how Dinky King was able to escape that rough start and become a powerhouse out of it, was pulling for him after that.
I'd love to see a FFA with temporary treaties. The little I have played with it from a "more game settings" mod has lead to very hilarious in game chat moments.

An FFA tournament? Yes please! 32 players, the first 4 of each game make it to the next round with a money bonus for the winners each round. That would be amazing.

Nomad FFAs are the best. It really is interesting to see how people play differently and it really lets you go nutz and play almost any way you want.
I've always loved nomad games. They were my favourite in AOE2.

Like you could trade wood gold food foralliance for a couple of minutes
It would be nice for going against a WONDER when you have a TEAM
Also sometime I feel the Population cap is too low for late games
Like Snoopa got the whole Island but still could only make walls towers
I would like to see him with a massive army and massive Economy (400+ Pop) to defeat the others which would force them to form alliances
I agree on the pop cap, he had half the map but the limit on what he could build army wise meant he had to make 10000 towers. stops you from doing things like putting archers on walls, having army at each gate which he could afford due to controlling half the map.
I guess the issue is, cheesers will just rock into your base with 400 lancers and destroy your landmarks.
Hey drango, I've been loving the new format! Keeps it exciting with so many players on the same map.
Here's a high IQ move: start building your wonder, but don't finish the building, leave it at like 95% finished. Than as soon as someone else builds a wonder, you build yours after 20-30 seconds and chill because everyone will go get the wonder which was built first, you can send some units there as well..
only issue is, people can see when you start building a wonder
I would love the nomad mega random tournament but I’m not sure how the players would feel about the randomness when prizes are on the line

I was rooting for Dinky from the start, Glad he managed to last till the end. He might have won if Matiz had a real bloody fight with David Kim, too bad he left his army to finish off red.
Everyone was going for the wonder with Siege and David Kim destroyed the Wonder with Villagers

Honestly, a bit sad for Dinky King. These last two games he has been put in really poor positions in terms of surrounding enemies and this time I really thought he may have a shot here after he took out Nevix. GG to him and to the winner!

You can see the line of Troops at 59:00 showing the path he took. I dont know how that path is traversable though. 1:1:45 looks to be the area and it looks impassable.
