Okay so!! I saw the latest Sanders Sides episode (Putting Others First) and this animatic was practically beamed into my head lol. I've been listening to The Monochrome Mentality for a bit and thinking bout how it relates to Sanders Sides but it REALLY relates to the new episode haha. I only used part of the lyric here cuz I thought it fit best but definitely check out the full version bc it's very good!
ANYWAy if you notice things looking a lil pixel-y, that's cuz I tried out a small stylistic change? I wanted stuff to look a bit pixellated bc of the episode's video game theme but youtube might've blurred it a bit so rip

This is so good! I also just realized that Patton, Janus, and Roman are all the primary colours (Logan is more of an indigo).
I'm an artist and I didn't notice that. I feel so dumb rn
actually the primary colours are magenta, cyan, yellow(the pigment ones aka submissive i think) and the other three: red, blue-violet, green(the white light ones aka assertive). just to let you know.

@@hopesworld9850 I mean, a lot of people have been thinking that the "orange side" is just Logan's dark side. Like how Roman has Remus, Patton has Janus, and Virgil has... Himself.
Anyway, Logan hasn't technically gotten one yet (sure, you can still count Janus, but he's more lying about feelings than logic.)
Plus, in Logan's playlist, there is a song called "Erase me", which talks a lot about getting rid of plans (The acting thing) and how it would be better if they were not there (the sides are starting to ignore Logan).
So yeah, its a stretch, but it could happen.

The new side could quite possibly be... procrastination. If we are going into the theory that this side is Logan’s counterpart, procrastination is ( if we look back, ex: Wdwguitm) Procrastination is the one thing Logan couldn’t, or desperately tried to fix, but untimely couldn’t. *cough cough*

Okay, I just want throw out this idea bc I just need to get it out of my system:
Since the lines between “dark” sides and “light” sides is growing thinner, the concept of their division goes too. (Roman even mentioned that he made up the name dark sides, meaning that is how he, the “good” creativity sees them). But as the dark and light sides reconcile, will Roman and Remus re-fuse?
I think Janus is slowly turning good (from the looks of the new episode)
This is honestly a great animatic, it fits the latest episode so freaking well. I love how you showed how all three of them were being harmful towards Thomas during the conflict, rather than taking sides (Sanders Sides, haha)

It FITS so well the tension of Thomas between Deceit (Janus) and Roman and fighting over Thomas’s trust, which can absolutely feel like be pulled to be in half and Patton watching, not knowing what to do (who then turns into Lilypaton).

Honestly yeah. I also love how the dark and light sides are growing more similar, even to quote deceit which may not be the most trustable sounding thing "you're just stuck with a lying snake boy"
I love all that during certain and quite accurate times, Roman's little crown would be broken, and even Patton's little heart would do the same (as far as I can only once though), I just really think that simultaneously cute and *heartbreaking*

Dude all the angst besides Janus and Remus is stuff I can’t handle. I guess it’s fine if it’s hurt comfort and of course Janus and Remus angst still often makes me cry but I enjoy it a lot more and the others are just so psychologically damaging to me. This is a long way of saying your video made me kinda sad (not that the video was bad or that my reaction matters)

Okay so theory:
Remus is the opposite of Roman, Deceit is the opposite of Logan, and Virgil is the opposite of Patton (since he used to be a dark side). What if the orange side is Guilt? Because guilt isn’t inherently good or bad, so it would make sense for it to be balanced this way.
