    Hilti is making the move to the consumer...like Milwaukee did. Both brands used to only be found in professional supply houses

    I've been using that saw for a couple of weeks at work, I like it so far. I bought it for the durability though, not performance. Went through two m12 ones in a year.

    I know there’s not many videos on it but I have the Skil 12v one hand recip saw and that thing is amazing. Closest saw I’ve found comparable to the m12 Fuel. Was able to get the kit brand new for $45.

    I use my left hand to hold the material and my left thumb on the saw with downward pressure to keep it stable. I never let a tool run without two points on it

    Nice work! I have the M18 Fuel one handed recip and I love that thing. For what I do, I would much rather use a one handed recip for most things.

    Maybe for that new pipe test you are trying, you could shoot it with foam gap filler in between the pipes to keep it in place.

      @ManCaverTools  2 роки тому +1

      I was thinking that as well. I will make a good solid test of that, maybe include a bigger pipe as well

    Hi Dave from PR. I would definitely like to se it go up against the new Milwaukee M18 hand saw since here on the Island we have to deal with a lot trees. Plus a saw this size could come in very handy and maneuverable up in the trees for trimming as long as it has the power and nice lasting time (not to be a battery guzzler) avoiding constant interruptions.

      Versus videos will be coming up along with duration tests

      It’s ok for pruning. I got it specifically for branches and limbs but I much prefer the newest Makita XGT for that (came out this summer). I have the regular Nuron recip too but I’ve found that both of the XGT and a couple of the LXT regular recips work out best for trees. Anything from an inch diameter to….man I’ve corded up some full on fallen trees. Usually branches/limbs between 3” to 18” diameter however. One handed uses has never been a problem. The Diablo carbide pruning blades with the big gullets are my go to. I don’t use chainsaws because of the nature of my job, insurance, and liabilities and we hire a whole arborist crew who are here practically once or twice a month. The Hilti “hackzall” has been getting a lot of work on bolts and hardened screws. It really shines there. Hilti rep was curious about the newest XGT vs the Nuron and we found that they both ate each other’s lunch on wildly different applications.

    That metal cutting test solution could be wood cut to the diameter of the hole with a smaller hole that holds the copper pipe

    Doesn’t look bad. You’ll have to take the human factor out of the versus tests coming up. Channel your inner project farm 😂

    Hey quick question. Do any of the Hilti impacts or saws come with battery?? Don't know much about Hilti cordless and the numbers to see if it's a combo or tool only

    • @ManCaverTools
      @ManCaverTools  Рік тому

      no, HILTI only sells each individual item separately at full price each. they really need to have kits at a discounted price

    work bought these for our group, it bound up on its first use without cutting anything, took the battery off and checked it, fully charged, re attached, same result didn't work, tried another battery, same thing then it started working, shortly after it stopped working again, went to record the results to forward to the boss and it started working, today tried the 1st battery from the original use and it worked fine, my co worker experienced the same thing but his wouldn't work at all, Hilti rep to be notified. Never had this issue with my Dewalt that I had for years....

    Totally unrelated, but dude, where can you still get a husky parts organizer like the one on your bench? I’ve got one on my bench, and I’ve been looking to add another for the last couple of years, but I can’t find them anymore. Anybody got any leads?
