Interesting that with more processing power, you still need to analyse the tracks using the app. Also, odd they have not gone the streaming way. That’s a big deal for some djs. Great video.

Pioneer are so behind the game, overpriced and outdated. Not worth the money at all
The same. Which DJ brand we are talking about. If a DJ controller or an all-in-one system comes on the market. A few years later... will this console always get an update, or be updated ? If so.. or if not. What do you think ?

Got a RX2 couple of days ago. I’ve been pretty happy with it until RX3 came out. 😭
The RX2 is still a great device though!!
I use the RX2 and sure there are some features that would be good to have, but you have NOT done a bad purchase, believe me! 👍
Dude same with me I got my RX2 in August after lots of homework on UA-cam. Didn’t see anything about the RX3 coming out Pioneer did a good job of keeping it under wraps.
It was certainly coming but it did drop out of nowhere!!
Hi, what device would You choose? Used (but in mint condition ) Rx2 + metal case for about 1000 pounds or brand new Rx3 for a retail price?
The RX2 is a good device still…but I would always go for the latest tech if I can afford it. It’s all about affordability and how much you want those extra features

Thinking of getting one. But not sure between RX3 and Denon Dj i want something I can use at a professional level and hire it out for gigs any advice.
If you want to hire it to people…pioneer will attract more people as rightly or wrongly it is considered the industry standard. Denon is good quality dj equipment too. Just research the features you want in a device and go from there.

No unfortunately not- you can however use the RX3 as its compatible for both

I will hold of buying a RX3 as several developers of technology computers, graphicscards, consoles, dj products and more have a hard time to both control their quality and quantity!

Made sure I pre ordered.
Been djing for 20 years was stuck In my ways with my record and cdjs.
Wasn't going to change.
But went ahead with getting one as been out djing mobile again.
1st few weeks of owning it, I was really scratching my head with the whole RECORDBOX analysising tracks etc.
But when I got my head round that.
Omg.
It's woke me up again to a whole different way of mixing music djing and mucking around with the pads.
I'm learning something new everyday onit

Are you upgrading to the RX3 mate? I’ve went from the RX2 > XZ > and now RX3. I do believe, when the XZ-2 is released with full size jogs and and the RX3 screen software it’s going to be an absolute beast!
I agree…Full sized jogs and cdj 3000 tech…will be like a full club set up. Just like the XZ is now. How does the rx3 compare when coming from an XZ? Not sure if if will upgrade for a little while….
@@djkarlthomas I suppose it depends if Pioneer think it will reduce sales of Pro Units if an XZ-2 was released like that, will wait and see. I actually haven't played the RX3 yet, I had to leave for work the next day and only just get home on 12th (Offshore for 3 weeks). tell me, how do you feel when club DJing using the RX2 jogs at home, then using the pro club full sized jogs, do you feel you want the full size at home or it doesn't really matter?
@@Lee-zg3gx Its a good question! When I first started using the RX2....I struggled with the jog wheels as they are so light and feel so much smaller and I had only ever used CDJ's previously. Also they are capacitive rather than pressure sensitive on the cdjs so feel way more sensitive. I am used to it now so it doesn't really bother me but it did take a while. The new RX3 has got the jog adjust though so you can stop them from feeling so light.
Doesn’t support streaming on the device. It’s rubbish compared to the Denon feature set.
Certainly isn’t future proof!
Too expensive / not enough features / denon give u a better unit

I'd have to disagree... with the constant advancement of technology and the industry itself. Most club, bars, etc.. all use Pioneer. The Denon does have some amazing features, don't get me wrong.. but if you want to stay acclimated with the music industries' latest tech and the normalcy of the software & devices... you're going to wanna go the pioneer route.
