Dogs can have the most powerful digestive system sometimes. My Labrador once ate a mango pit and threw it up at around 1 AM. Another time, he ate a legit ball of chocolate and somehow passed it. Nothing happened to him. 3 years old now and still fine
Funny dog stories now I guess. When we got my dog buddy he would just try to eat stuff. One day, everyone was distracted and not paying attention. My sister starts freaking out that she can't find her phone (mind you, this was flip phone era, so they were a lot smaller then they are now) so we try looking for it and can't find it. My dad decides to call it. We wait to hear the ring. It's muffled, thinking it's in the couch, we tear it apart. But after getting buddy off, the ring tone sound moved. What do you know? He ate my sister's phone. Dude would just walk around vibrating because my sister had a lot of friends that would text her often. He was fine and passed it with no problem and the vet even decided to help us out for free because of how unique that visit was. All she could do was laugh whenever he vibrated lmao. Good times.
That Childhood Dog one hit me something fierce... Not gonna lie. I had a dog that apparently ran away when I was like 3 or 4 or something and that I was absolutely distraught. But to be honest, I think I would want to see 2 other dogs that got separated from us when moving houses. We got them when I was around 7 I think (25 now) and around 2017 is when we moved and had to give them away to some dude that apparently accidentally lost em some time after... The gutting part about em was that I had a dream some days after they escaped, where they were saying "Goodbye" as if they had died while on the streets, I was hugging them desperately and saying frantically that they were good boys and that I loved them. It was legit one of the really bad times I woke up breathing heavily and chocking through tears. 10 outa 10... Wouldn't wish this on anyone. So yea, just thought I share some odd logic of not wanting to see my "actual" childhood dog that I struggle to remember and chose the ones that I remember for being at my later childhood through highschool graduation years.... In fact I would probably look like a terminator unit with full malicious intent whilst trying to get into the train lol.
