Thanks for the video! Very informative! I'm looking to make a dehumidifier for a lumber drying kiln. How would a traditional heat pump type system be altered to make it most effective as a dehumidifier? How cold should the evaporator get? The kiln will reach 140 degrees and I'm planning to have all of the dehumidification components inside (so the heat from operating it can heat the kiln). Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How are the properties calculated at point 3 when considering a degree of subcooling, thus the point not being on the saturation line? I would like to know what tables or formulas to use to obtain enthalpy and entropy at that point located in the zone of subcooled liquid refrigerant. Thank you in advance.
