Imagine Jean talking like that in game because she's drunk .
Chiwa Saito's voice acting of Tamamo makes you realize it's her natural voice style. She does tend to voice in a serious manner at times like Jean or Boudica, but I realize that Tamamo is more Chiwa-nee than her typecasts.
My first experience with her voice was best girl Senjougahara, I couldn't believe she was voicing Tamamo no Bae after that first impression, much less Kuro Illya.
To be fair, she often voices characters that have at least one or two screws loose

and her summer skin mentioned she is "no older" than woman around her, so i pretty sure she's in early 20 or even could be 19
plus mona mentioned her constellation based on young lion who not yet developed her potential and too young to lead, so i don't think she's as old as leader regulary
and lastly if you look at her bodytype, her booba is actually smallest compared to other older woman character, so it could be she not yet developed or maybe just designed that way

I didn't know Chiwa was older. I guess Chiwa comes off as ditzy while Miyukichi has a natural mature aura. And she's an older sister to two brothers and a Chihiro mention. And Miyukichi cute voice!
It's funny cause they both actually have different typecast back then...
And both actually having a more higher pitch roles and usually childish.
I think Senjougahara roles is the 1st one that makes Chiwa having a more lower pitch and serious role.
(She actually auditioned for other character on Bakemonogatari back then not Senjou, probably Mayoi)
For Miyuki I don't remember when she having this onee-san type characters typecasing, but the 1st one I remember is probably Milla from Tales of Xillia.

The part where Chiwa-san said she is very mature for her age…WEEEEEELLLL…you do need to remember how many layers this statement has. Yes, this is true. But it’s also true because SEVERAL OF HER CHARACTERS ARE VERY…FLIRTY…border-lining on being straight up ecchi. (Tamamo and Tatenashi spring to mind IMMEDIATELY.)
Also, yes, Chiwa-san is stupid. But that’s what we love about her.

I don't think this is recent either because her first character that's older than Miyuki was iirc, in Bakemonogatari which was aired in 2009. then this is probably before that year so they were definitely in their mid 20's when this was aired.
