The Chloe original is the MVP for me. It is subtly a beast-- I can smell it on my clothes the next day. You smell SO feminine and girly without choking anyone out. My mom eventually asked me "why do you always just smell so good?" one day.
I'm a fragrance passionate, and I'm beginning to love the Chloe perfumes ! To me, this is one of the rare brands which know how to make florals or fresh perfumes in a good and modern way, not in a "old lady" way. I smelt Chloé original EDP and Lovestory EDP. The first one is great, maybe a little too strong (for a floral) for me, because I'm not used to very floral fragrances yet. But maybe the EDT, with this cotton flower, will be a little bit less strong.
And the LoveStory, I love it ! More fresh, aquatic, little bit fruity, and soapy. Like I dive in a fresh pear juice swimming pool. But very elegant with the florals. I love it ! I've got a sample that I'm super excited to test on my skin.
This brand is so modern and classy, but elegant and fun. I want to smell all of their fragrances !

Last year I purchase Chloe EDP as an everyday scent (blind purchase!) Initially I was not impressed but after spraying it on my skin and catching whiffs of it - I absolutely love it! Having drained a whole bottle of it in one year (125ml) I am deciding whether to just purchase another faithful bottle of try the Chloe 'Love Story'...hmmmm still deciding! I’m so glad you enjoy Chloé edp. I probably sound like a broken record in your comment sections. But oh god , Chloe edp is my latest fav , it just smells so classic feminine and soft. Every time I wear it , I feel like a classy lady even if I’m in my 3-day old pj. I will forever purchase it. I tried the rose scent in store , it’s really nice but it’s so light I’m afraid the longevity won’t be good.
I agree - it does make you feel classy no matter what you're doing or wearing. Yes the Roses one for me was very light and I didn't enjoy it back in the day when I first tried it.

Chloe's bottle starts to tarnish after a while, but you can easily make it shine with toothpaste and a cloth 🤗

Would love to see a review of the Chloe L’eau at some point ! These are gorgeous, classy scents . By the way , that little “ thing” atop the Love Story is supposed to be a padlock , as it imitates the padlocks 🔒 lovers put on the bridges in Paris to symbolise love, but you probably knew that

A few months ago I bought a mini bottle of Love Story on Amazon just because of the wonderful story of the love locks of Paris that inspired the design of the bottle.
Chloe has the early original, back in the 80's, quite pungent. The original that you love, is my favorite as well. The rose is so balanced, and very complex. I can spray this and know that it will carry through to the end of the day. The other rose fragrance I love is Lancome Idole, a very different kind of rose a bit brighter, and fresh, but longevity is great.
I'm really curious about the Love Story, seems pretty 😳
I have the original Chloe EDP, it's a clean scent that last on me all day, love it. I kinda want to have the absolu version because of you but I need to try first 😊
I also have Nomade EDP but I recently smelled the newer version "Nomade Absolu" and it's absolutely gorgeous, better than the original (I'm already saving my money 🙈)
Your review dated May 2020 was non exciting about this perfume I was thrownback and very surprised. I am so glad you changed your mind because this is a FIRST class scent, very clean which you did not say on your may 2020 review which you sounded a bit rushed. Thanks for an update this perfume deserves much better which other reviewers have done a great job describing the scent

Im torn between chloe edp and lovestory. I have the travel size of love story and I love it. I havent tried chloe edp yet but the reviews are convincing. Which one would you recommend?

Chloe was my signature for a long time, it's so beautiful and classy! Unfortunately I leave mine in the box these days because of the tarnishing because it gets pretty bad if I leave it out

It depends if you want something more vanilla, something truly floral or something a bit fresher fruitier. The Love Story is the fresher fruitier one, and at the moment I'd say it's my favorite, but I love the EDP and Absolu as well. For me the Absolu is a must have. :). It totally depends on your taste - you cant go wrong with either of them honey :)
I really the original chloé, however I do have to say I almost can’t smell it on my skin. I can spray half a bottle and I still can’t smell it properly … :(

I would love to know the difference between the chloe original and absolu??or are they one and the same? I feel the names of their line is so confusing because so many different names. Can anyone help me. Help
The absolu has vanilla, it’s more of a soft feminine Chloe, less fresh floral/citrus. As I’ve said the absolu has this pretty skincare product type of vibe while the original Chloe is that original floral scent we all know so well.
What do you think about fleur the parfum? I love this scent!

How about the longevity performance for the chloe love story? Is it long lasting?
Love story has VERY good longevity, one good spray on your arm and you'll be smelling it all day and it even comes through the clothing.

As far as I know any amazon links are legit but always do your own diligence with amazon as it can be tricky. I have tried to link amazon less these days due to that. Discount sites such a perfumeonline, fragrancebuy and fragrancenet are legit.
