Well, of course this would happen. I haven’t played yet, but from what I got there are no placement matches whatsoever, so player skill is all over the place right now. With the whole team-balancing mechanism they have, it was expected that Marksman, a top tier player, would be forced into a 1v4.....

@@xDbrad Basically Cold War Ranked Mode isn't even a proper ranked mode, and SBMM + Team Balancing screwed Marksman in this video heavily, more so than it normally would in regular matchmaking actually.
Basically, we were promised a ranked mode at launch, didn't get it, and got a terrible version of a ranked mode 3 months later that is just normal matchmaking because the public matches have strict SBMM.
@@damienharbin242 If they got rid of skill based matchmaking so many people would actually get back on Cold War it’s kind of frustrating that they still have it in the game, especially with a ranked game mode now

I just miss bo2 in general only cod I actually played and not dropped. Honestly everything after is a roller-coaster mess it feels like except mw which has some redeeming things.
He is still in the beginner bracket. Once you build your rank to a higher one you get eith teammates of the same skillevel. Now when everyone is still the lowest rsnk in league all skill levels get combined

This has to be the most relatable gameplay I've seen in a while. Someone quits, everyone else spreads out around the map doing good knows what. Lost an SnD game because some dude would grab the bomb, and then sprint into the enemy spawn.
League play is so busted. As a solo player I'm constantly going against full sweatlord parties and my teammates go 3-17 while pretending to play TDM

Although as someone who loves to quickscope I've always felt that Marksman wants snipers to be unusable in that way - he advocates a further increase to ADS time for snipers in this game which I cannot comprehend. I get adding flinch but anyway. Not sure I'd play it because I know I wouldnt be able to quickscope lol 😆
I think were underplaying how hard it is to make a game, having his opinions or suggested changes is enough, like ninja used to suggest changes for fortnite and they'd listen. the COD developers have done amazing with their game since beginning.

Advanced Warfare had the best “RANK” mode on any Call Of Duty imo.
You even got rewarded with a Skin if you placed top 500 on you country.
That's what sucks about big companies when a game they make doesnt succeed as much. They tend to just scratch everything from that game and essentially start over for the next one. If they keep certain things from all cods, I guarantee the very next cod would be nominated for Game of the Year. But that'll never happen cuz Activision seems to be the type to not think ahead, nor care to even try.

Sometimes I speak bad of marksman, but this video has to be one of my favourites. I’d honestly love a series where you compete in league play but get some buddies to help you. Normally SnD etc is so vanilla. Competitive play is so much more entertaining and intense.

It judges you based off of time played. Not SBMM. Then the normal wins give you points and losing takes points.

I know that feeling a few weeks ago I was playing hardpoint on Nuketown I went 60 and 30 with the most time and the most objectives. The 130 points we got was because of me and only me. It's not just cold war it's every FPS game

With how he's playing, it's just frustrating as a streamer as his job is dictated by his passion to play the game. This match is so frustrating to watch because you can tell Marksman didn't even enjoy playing matches where he's constantly losing while stressing on playing 110%, while having the game dictate whether he wins or loses.
Oh god, can't wait to break a few controllers over ranked cod instead of siege.

Marksman is so fricken good that the SBMM sticks him with the geriatric ward to try and make things fair. That was a close match given his teammates spent half the time eating lead paint chips.

Hard point just shouldn't be in at all. Not terrible on raid but played on crossroads last night and lost because the other team was spawning directly ontop of most hard points while we had to run all the way across to get to it. Also had two server crashes and lost placement points for it 😂 not a good experience

@@truths_ I know it's been in forever and I don't mind the mode at all. Like I said I enjoyed playing it my placement matches on raid. It wasn't so much rotating to a hard point as it was us killing them off a hard point and them spawning in sight of the hardpoint. If we got killed off of it we were sent to the other side of the map and it happened consistently all game.

@@truths_ could just be the new CW maps and me just not understanding the spawn systems, seems like I can't even flip spawns or know them on them but the remasters I do a lot better on. I'll have to put more time into the newer more open maps

Also this match is a perfect example of why ranked modes should be based on personal performance and not win/loss
i honestly really really enjoy the ranked system in Apex Legends. Obviously this not being a battle royale means things have to be adapted but the premise remains the same. You earn or lose points based on you performance and that dictates your rank based on how many you have. Have a top level tier like Master and then the top 500 cumulative point players or how ever many, get a special Rank to encourage the highest tier players to keep grinding to get or keep that exclusive level if they want it and encourage other high caliber level players to grind to get to Master or even catch the exclusive rankings themselves

That's because he's in beginner bracket still, just like everyone else. The skill levels aren't accurate yet.
@@osomoisty it wont change anything if he can barely win a match if he loses because of teammates it still effects him, he shouldnt have to deal with teammates who get a total of 5 kills in an entire match, while the enemy team has a full team who are helping.

If you call that not trying then i dont know what planet or universe your from, SBMM makes it so if you have a higher KD, Nicks KD is about a 3.5-4 right now i think, you get worse teammates and better enemies, as he has explained in a bunch of his videos, and as you can see, he is on his main account, not his second account that he uses to mess around on, and even then that account on MW got to the same KD as his main account.

I’ve never seen a more accurate representation of how my matches go. I will try with everything I have to even keep my team afloat while fragging and playing obj, shutting down the enemy team. Just to have my teammates mindlessly run at them and feed while ignoring obj. We end up losing by a few points and it’s nothing but frustration. Can’t tell you how many dom/hard point matches I’ve lost with 50-60+ kills and most captures/time on point just because my teammates have no brain function and the other team just has plays obj and max gets like 20 kills. P A I N
