Do More with Less, The Japanese Art of Mindful Productivity
Вставка
- Опубліковано 10 чер 2024
- 1000s of years ago, Buddhist monks traveled to Japan and introduced paper, which led to the creation of origami. And through this practice, came the philosophy and principles for effortless productivity. Origami holds the secret to doing more with less, for mindfully enjoying the journey. Strangely enough, it's what allowed me solve some of the most complex creative problems in my business and with procrastination.

What a well made & thoughtful video! The origami analogy is amazing
We appreciate how well you've articulated your own insights. You'll always have our support.
🥹🥹 That means a lot. Thank you so much for watching and supporting our content.
Ur videos gave me a clear idea and thought to focus on important things and doing them again and again.
I love the idea of using awareness, observation and experimentation to boost productivity. It’s refreshing to hear that it’s okay to not be as efficient as a machine and that we can still find our own way to getting things done.
Of course! It's so important for people to realise that we are human beings and our mistakes make us who we are.
Our flaws have lessons in them, it's up to us to learn from them and grow.
The part that really got me was when you said, " If only I could solve this one problem, then my life is gonna be easier" It makes so much sense to me because, to me it feels like when I solve my Studying problem, my life is gonna be flawless... Turns out I am wrong.
We are living from problems from problems these days. True living starts when we start living in the moment. ✨️
Love your videos
The thumbnail was just ✨Chef's Kiss💋✨

The last part of the video changed my view on goals as it is rightly said "To have a desired life don't ruin the present quality of your life" ❤
That's right. Don't waste your present for a future that has yet to come. 🙏🏼 I am glad our video added value to your day.

brilliantly explains complicated terms in simple ways
Can you do a video on school supplies and what you actually need
Hey there! Well, while we have a video on the best iPad apps, the truth is, it doesn't really matter which app, school supply, bag, or book you use. What's important is that it helps you learn, it's easy to manage, and it doesn't take forever to get started and completed.
I highly recommend this playlist where we do a deep dive on what you need in order to win at studying, in general.

It's really surprising to see that an Idea as simple as Origami can teach us so much and this one is really unique.
Really loved how you incorporated Origami with Life and Productivity.
It's always good to be reminded that life is not a race and how we often forget about how far we have come and are stuck in a race of how far we have to go.
Overall this one was really Unique. Much Love to you guys, you always meet and excel expectations!
Thank you so much! I loved your perspective on our video and support what you said.
Life really isn't a race. It's meant to be taken and appreciated slowly, fold by fold.
In todays world, where everything's so fast-paced, being deliberately slow has become an art very few can master.
How do i manage a subject in a day? for example i have 6 topics in math and i gave each topic a hour or depending on the difficulty and i do pomodoro 50 10 every 4 hours i take a 20 min break, but i don't think that helped my techniques suck and that's because i asked chatgpt for help 😂, anyway do you have a vid on that that might help because i think i barely remembered a thing in mu exams when i focus on writing and read less.
🔥🔥
Exquisite.
Thank you so much for the kind words!
What did you like about the video? Any take aways?
It is so hard to finish a 7-minute video in 2 minutes 😂
🤣🤣 Did you do it?
i love study methods like this because its realistic and based on real struggles, not just some study tips like do notes, etc.
love you guys!! its so helpful and easy to understand
Thank you so much for your kind words and support! 🙏🏻
i have this problem i just learn little bit this skill and that skill the reason is that i dont start something i focus on. one thing right
Can anyone tell me where Mike and Matty are from? They use the name Cajun Koi. Are they from South Louisiana?
i love your videos! it's kinda sad to be a stranger to people who've helped you so much
Well, you are here, and you are a part of the Cajun Koi academy. Therefore, you are no longer a stranger but a rookie and I, your teacher and mentor.
Do say hi in the Discord server whenever you can that's where all of us hang.
Keep going

Thank you for this video. I had stumbled on the general idea a few times, but being a part of my thought process, it would slip away. Now that I've seen a concrete full video about it, it will persist far longer, and hopefully long enough till I can properly apply it to my mindset in everyday life. Keep things simple and keep on doing them till they take shape.
I am so glad you found value in our video. That's basically what we want our rookies to learn, that there is beauty and complexity in simplicity.
You said that you've stumbled across the idea a few times. What generated the curiosity in the first place? Was it a book? A podcast? Another video?
Overthinking. When I got lost in the process, destructuring it would often solve my problems and point them out as relatively simple.
5:28 What’s the “focus band”? And please excuse my ignorance
No worries! I am happy to answer all the questions.
Focus band is something Mike wears to signal his brain that it's work time. Focus ring is my familiar object.

"To do more with less . . .
. . . do less . . . ."
? ? ?
By that I mean, in order to have enough energy and bandwidth for more stuff, you need toL:
a) Take on really important things--one at a time so that you can give them your best.
b) Take breaks so that you are able to recover the lost energy used.
Hope this answered your question. 🙏🏼
More with Less 👌👌👌
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you guys, you really help bring clarity and these videos are so helpful for me :)
I love origami cranes too :)
Origami cranes are so cool but require a lot of finesse and skill to make.
Have you ever made them? 🤔
"Let's take it easy" _Hinata Shoyo
How a yt channel could relate this match to my life?😂
I have this concept I'm thinking about lately and it goes like this:
"As long as you pay attention you can't waste time."
Nothing is wasted if it's done with intention. Every possible skill, insight or even moment of appreciation has an ability to transform your life in a positive way.
