Gas prices are falling world wide. The drop before the crash. Right now, we are making more gas than is used. So prices fall. Soon the smaller amount of gas users will be forced to pay more overhead per gallon causing gas prices to raise. Gas stations across America are shutting down, Dealerships are going bankrupt, mechanics are making money hand over fist, extended warranty services are making record profits. Soon mechanics will go bankrupt, and extended warranty services will also fail. In less than 10 years people will be driving 2018 Tesla Model 3's that are 17 years old with more than 350k miles on them that still get 200+miles for just $6. A new battery with 350+ miles will only cost $5k.

Hybrids should be equal to petrol cars, it makes no sense they get any tax credits or anything else. There are even mild hybrids, that use the starter motor for the first few feet after a complete stop, and that is the only thing it does, but is still considered a hybrid and has the same benefits and tax deduction as a full BEV.
Transport & Environment Sept 2020 White Paper - "Real World Usage of PlugIn Hybrid Vehicles" "For private cars, the average utility factor (UF)-an expression for the portion of kilometers driven on electric motor versus kilometers driven on combustion engine-is 69% for NEDC type approval but only around 37% for real-world driving.
