Those X5's are so luxurious. Great job on this one. I can't imagine driving a car such as that where I live without PPF.
When my buddy and I used the Nano Surface Primer on my SQ5, we did not experience any significant hazing. We were anticipating it, but the primers came off perfectly prior to laying down the Nano Resin Pro. Kind of strange how you couldn't eliminate it.
Got to ask how much was this to polish ?
Great video, loved the color of the X5. Question, I recently did a ceramic coating on my 24 GLE 63s from Mercedes. The finish looks great on the paint but the vehicle has high gloss black plastic on the rear window trim. The coating left a white haze that disappears when I wipe it but reappears in a few minutes. I ask this because you had the same issue on the hood with the polishing. I used panel prep before coating the vehicle. What did I do wrong?
Well we had that haze on the hood because of that specific product, not sure why you are having those issues without seeing it in person. I am sorry I know that is not much of a help. I would recommend just putting PPF over it, even with coating they are so sensitive and will scratch.

Phil from Miranda detailing has showed this many times with the Dr. Beasleys NSP polish. It always hazes up but you coat right over it and it will go away. Not sure why they would make the product like that though.

9:40 This is where I’m at. Bought my ‘22 Elantra N in January ‘22. After this winter’s over, and because of your videos, I feel confident in buying equipment and supplies and tackling it myself! You mentioned this X5 has good paint to work with. What about Hyundai? Anything you’d recommend when it’s time for correction and protection?

I got a 23 Elantra N, Hyundai is pretty notorious for having soft paint, so you'll have less work compounding and more work polishing. Mine was already put through the ringer when I bought it though, so i still had a decent amount of scratches to remove ;/. Good luck!
