Hearing joik for the first time I was really interested and read quite some articles about it. I love this song and Freds joik is beautiful to me ^^. Coming from Germany I have never heard of neither joik nor the Sami culture and it was really cool to see and hear something new.

I do like Norway this year (it`s on my top songs list) and it is rare for me to like Eurovision songs, but this year does have some unexpectedly good songs. I thought the comment about it was funny. Australia has one of the best performances in the finals overall: the singer and two dancers flying around in such beautiful flowy dresses. They were my favourites. Every year I want Australia to win so that finally all European countries think: "Hey, we can't let Australia win Eurovision again. Norway has this special own country called «Finnmark» in Norwegian. The people living in «Finnmark» is called «samer» and they have like this special way of singing. That is called «joik». They are represents different countries in that song. Love it!
