It only got down to -11 here in KY last week, but we live in an old, pieced together farm house that sits atop a knoll where we make a nice target for the wind. Hubs really needs to finish his remodeling projects to keep the drafts from sailing right on in. Brrrrrrrrrrr. I think I bitched just the right amount to get him working on it too. :D

This may be a stupid question, but I am not above asking stupid questions. How do I work with the big spools of thread on my machine? I'm not talking about the serger size, but the oversized spools that are too high for my thread stick. I got a large spool like that to use as bobbin embroidery thread and it is hard to try to wind my bobbin with it because it won't fit on the thread stick. Do I need to buy a separate device to hold it?
He lives about 30 minutes from me then. And yes you spelled it correctly. The cold is back and it is supposed to be about the same this upcoming Monday and Tuesday... Gahhh why do we live in this place.... Thanks for the warm wishes!

I live in Montana; so it is cold here too. How about putting a heating pad on the floor; if your feet are warm - you’ll be warm all over!
