No one can say whether Colby is better or not because we haven't seen him outside of the Woodley fight, but tbh I'm not seeing this massive improvement that people are selling for Usman.
The guys he fought? Colby would also destroy them, it's fine to say Usman has been more active but majorly evolved? it just isn't there, he's fighting the same fight he always fights, it's just the quality of opposition after Covington was a big step down so of course he looks better in those fights, this is also the case currently for Khamzat who has way too much hype for the low quality of opposition he has faced.
I'm backing Colby, he's been training to beat Usman for over a year now, and what I really like is that this close to the fight we aren't hearing much talk from Colby, his head is in the right place for this fight and I believe the change of camps has benefited him greatly.

@@cloydlaroix9098 So the lightweight title is being contended by two former featherweights? What's your point again? Robert Whittaker was a former welterweight who held the middleweight title for a period of time. The argument of fighters being from a lighter weight class is ridiculous. If anything they should be praised for being able to hang with the top guys in the weight class above. Gilbert Burns is ranked #2 as a welterweight. Masvidal is a top 10 welterweight. Why are you diminishing their accomplishments 'cause they were from a lighter weight class when they're arguably some of the best in their new weight class?
Come up with a good answer 'cause I'm curious.
EDIT: Oh, and another thing. How bad does it look on Colby when a "former lightweight" dropped the current Welterweight King when Colby Covington couldn't do it in 24 and a half minutes?
I think we all like usman and colby covington but this guy in 170 khamzat chimaev his to much problem 🤔🤫🤭
