The "just because it's legal" BS isn't even accurate. The federal age of consent in the US is 18. There are laws to protect minors specifically so people don't try and abuse state laws. Obviously it's creepy and gross to try and argue that it's okay because it's legal but sometimes it isn't even legal either.
Fax. I’m not the type to say that Drake has never made good music(like many people, I enjoy Take Care, NWTS & IYRTITL) but to act like Drake is this great artist especially at this point in his career is just delusion at its finest. You don’t have to be a Kendrick glazer to know that his music has been mediocre since 2016.
@@Momax-br3yfthat’s your opinion tho, views is okay (the good songs aged well) and more life is actually pretty good and I think has some of his most underrated rap songs, I admit post scorpion it’s been pretty mid but you act like he never made any good songs at all post 2015
@@romaretaylor9953 With all due respect bro, I never said that. I simply said that his music overall has been mid post 2015. A few songs does not correlate to his post-2015 music overall being good. That being said I liked half of More Life but like most of Drake’s post-Views music, the rest was filler
The Drake/Dr. Dre comparison would be comparable if Dr. Dre built his brand on "look how good I am at punching" and invited women on stage to play-fight
@@calvincameron354 just like most fans don’t care until it comes to their favorite artist being attacked. I promise you Kendrick fans didn’t give a damn about what Drake did until they had beef.
@pass_me_d_blunt1298 nah, I see that "17" vid the day it was posted... every time he would drop a new track, I'd go through the cycle of "oh this a bop. Oh wait remember he likes teenagers?? Bro is this song about a teenager???" And it had run everything for me since lol Been telling people for around a decade now
@@RyzardOng, people on Twitter be knowing the age of consent on every state and country off the dome, but they call other people weird for getting called out on it
I dunno, making myself look problematic at the very least, and a staunch defender of some freaky ass n-word (lmao, I left the whole idubbbz "slurs=all good or slurs=all bad" [and I lean toward all good before] phase behind, wish I could care less now, but yeah, words defo hurt people.) at the worst is fun. :v
Look, I’m a whole ass author, who routinely writes books that are 80,000+ words long, and I simply don’t understand how these people have the energy for it. On someone they don’t know? Over some music? It boggles the mind.
If you just ignore him kissing a 17yo, taking very weird pics with another, sliding on dms of many others, having lyrics that support that, being a colonizer, apropriating sounds and even accents, signing artistis to steal their songs, talking about women like a predator, and some other stuff, you can just listen to him
Yeah, it's just people so parasocial that they are used to a culture where consuming is an endorsement, and thus to enjoy something, it is tied to you - and if it's tied to you, the creator MUST be a GOOD PERSON, because you enjoy their stuff, which means that since you believe yourself to be a good person, and enjoy it, the only reality is that the artist is also good
Like see how mad Drake is at the Weeknd for not signing into the OVHoe sweat shop after Aubrey Graham stole the content to his only supposedly "classic" album.
The colonizer claim is so idiotic that it makes the rest of your comment retroactively stupid by association. Kendrick's woke BS bars aren't remotely grounded in reality, and the overall "culture" of his demographic is something he should be ashamed of, not something he wants to claim is being appropriated or stolen. But this is a triple-digit IQ conversation, so I wouldn't expect you or Kendrick to understand it.
@@JakeKoenig What is "idiotic about the claim? If the "claim" is acting "retroactively" that means it does not affect comments in the future only in the past. What were the "woke BS bars" and how do you expect them to affect all of America? Why is he expected to be ashamed of "demographic", demographic is not something you can change, you're born into a container that America likes to segregate people into> I really don't believe you can steal a demographic. How does IQ relate to the conversation? You know Kendrick personally. I feel as if it might help you to understand the meaning of words, grammar, understand a base level of comprehension before you can start to understand a regular rap song. I understand Drake glazers only listen to the beats and aren't interested in the words (as they are 100% unintelligible gibberish), it is unfortunate you cannot engage in this conversation in a well informed manner. Your call is important to us.
I would argue it is (but trust me, I get what what you mean). Hypocrisy is arguably the highest form of deceit, saying/teaching/demanding things/standards you don't follow yourself. I could even say that hypocrisy is harmful behavior even if it's typically not physically harmful. But most people would rather deal with a liar than an assailant... (maybe? Some lies really crush people so hard that they'd rather be beat on, but I digress. I made this reply deeper than it needed to be for what u said. My gears just started spinning, y'know.)
I think the funniest part about Drake fans now is that they handwave away Drake hate as Kendrick love when they don't realize those two things can be entirely separate. Drake being terrible and making generic music is entirely separate from the good music Kendrick makes. I never needed a mainstream beef to hate on Drake. Hated his whining since 2011. JPEGMAFIA, an artist whose way more talented than Drake, made his first track off his first studio album titled Drake Era in 2016. Its not new to hate on Drake. Its not a phase or a fad. Being a Kendrick fan didn't make me hate Drake. Drake did. Enjoy his trash music all you want but stop trying to gaslight us on why we hate him, Drizzler fans. Its just sad.
I was saying this when the beef started bro I couldn't believe how many people were really that surprised over his public long overdue lambasting, I don't think I've even seen a fanbase react with such ignorance.
My thing is, people can still listen to him & it’s whatever to me(not in a bad way), but seeing him currently in the light he’s in, i just can’t listen in to his music the same as prior to the whole beef.
They're not a fan base, they're a hater base. They'll show up to hate, but when it comes to actually supporting their faves *crickets*. Just look at how much support Weezy fest just got.

Like I said on the post: if you have to cope so hard as to overlook an artists misdeeds to listen to them, that's one thing. But if you must cope so hard that you need EVERYONE to overlook the weird shit an artist has done in order for you to need to look inward and also look for new music. There's so much music it's crazy, you can listen to literally any genre. I'm into so much music from nearly every genre and it's wonderful. Open your life up and stop restricting yourself to fuckin Drake lmfao.
What kills me about the Dr. Dre and Kanye arguments is that they’ve completely given up on saying Drake isn’t bad, cause even they know he is. They have to talk about other rappers to deflect from the situation. Like “yeah Drake is weird, but….you haven’t said Dre and Kanye are weird, how curious”
Is it wrong that the guys who hang with Kendrick are weird and he’s calling out Drake who is weird? I don’t get how people are wrong for saying that others are weird as well.
@@pass_me_d_blunt1298it’s not that they’re wrong. It’s changing the topic to deflect. Like we’re not talking about that. If you want to talk about Dre, then make a Dre video. If we’re on topic A, don’t deflect and change the subject to topic B.
I like that this is just on his latest video and not related at all. Dude just finished Rah Tah Tah n came over to comment. Be unabashed in your kindness
They really search up people who disagree with them and argue with them online. And they have been doing it for 6 months...like they clock in and cash checks for this shit. Stop caping for people who dont know you exist!
I’m happy you did this video. There are a lot of Drake stans actually standing in and defending the creepy ass shit that has been placed right in front of their face. Like wtf is going on. And will always bring up someone else outside of Drake to justify what they’re saying.
The first person bringing up Kylie Jenner and Tyga, and Kanye apparently making a gross comment about their relationship is funny for a few reasons. First off, Drake was photographed with Kylie at her 16th birthday party grabbing her and kissing her on the cheek. Drake was in his mid twenties and she had just turned 16. I personally find the photo really uncomfortable to look at. But even if you don't find it weird, they were close enough for there to be dating rumours. So around the time she was with Tyga she was close enough to Drake, spent enough time hanging out with Drake, that they had to deny the dating rumours. The person commenting called Kanye a pēdō defender for making a vulgar comment. This is supposed to make Derapy look hypocritical for listening to Ye but not Drake, and it's supposed to make Kanye look worse than Drake. But Drake was out there partying with Kylie when she was a teenager. They were "just friends" which is a crazy relationship for a girl in her mid teens and a guy in his mid twenties to have in the first place. Add to that the reason they had to clarify that they were "just good friends" was to deny rumours they were a couple. Kylie Jenner is just about the worst person you could bring up to make this kind of point. But then on top of that, they outright claim that Drake hasn't dated any teenagers, as well as not being inappropriate with any. Drake dated Bella Harris, who he'd known since she was about 16. He took her out for dates as soon as she turned 18. He took her out for dinner, he posed for photos with her that were shared on social media, and he was dissing her in bars on FATD. He's in his thirties taking an 18 year old girl out on fancy dinner dates. He also dated Hailey Bieber before she was married to Justin... When she was a teenager. He took her out for dinner dates. There's more than enough proof of him being a creep.
I'd like to point out that if we were to make this a Kendrick v Drake issue of "supporting bad people" There should be an understanding that these people(all 3 of them) can change, but Drake has not demonstrated any change (that was like...the point of the last verse in meet the grahams..). He has done the same thing multiple times up to and including him dating girls that are FRESHLY 18. That's weird and shows a pattern.
I was already tired of Drake before the Kendrick beef. His last few albums weren't great and his behavior towards women was weird. Kendrick just brought up more good reasons to stop listening.
I have this friend, and he does not follow rap or hip-hop. During the beef, I was talking to him about Drake and how I never liked him because of his creepy behaviour around girls, and how I will probably never listen to his music. And he only has knowledge about the controversial stuff that hits the social media. So he said to me, "Well you like Kanye and he is very clearly supporting Nazi ideologies and Hitler, Why Don't you stop listening to his music??," I said to him that the first thing is I don't like Kanye, I like his music. And the reason I can listen to his music is because he is not talking about supporting Hitler in his early music (Which I like and listen to) but Drake's music is about the women in his life, And when I know the way he behaves around women, I can't listen to it. I don't give a fuck if the girl is defending him or not. But the fact that he felt that it was alright to say to a girl that he just met that, "I like the way your breasts feel on my chest" is just purely disgusting. I will not feel comfortable saying that to a woman that I have been in a relationship for 5 years and he had the audacity to say that in front of thousands of people, to his own fan. If Drake was let's say making music about driving cars, I would not have that much of problem listening to his music. But when 90% of it is about women, I can't listen to it without being reminded of that clip everytime
Didn't kanye have a line about a "Jewish doctor"? I don't really listen to Kanye (nor do I listen to drake) but isn't his music often political or religious? I listen to pre-2013 Kanye a little bit, but overall I can't stand the guy and I have no desire to seek out anything new from him, because he is a nazi sympathizer, and I'm continously surprised by how many people still like his music and listen to new music from him. Everyone is free to listen to whatever they'd like, but you do have to admit that Kanye is incredibly problematic and it comes off as a *little* bit hypocritical to listen to Kanye while also saying Drake is problematic and this and that. They're different but both problematic and I imagine Kanye's beliefs, opinions, values, etc. come through in his music. Imo, people shouldn't really listen to either of them. And okay if you literally only listen to early Kanye then I don't really think they're comparable, I don't think there's an issue with that. But listening to newer Kanye, absolutely shouldn't do imo.
@@SpencerfromEarthnot the same at all You can listen to kanye's music(donda and older) and hear a lot of good qualities, good properties and understandable things. There were some wild things back then but nothing on the line of what you're claiming now. Vultures(both) are eh and not worthy of replay like that for more reasons than just the substance, but those albums do not carry themes across his whole discography. Drake has his brand based on love and women and with the things people have known and have seen with their own eyes, it's weird. Kanye saying bad things? Yes, that's bad. You don't want to support him? Yeah. But words don't carry the same as actions, especially ones that have been going on for way longer.
I find it INSANE that people think that other rappers doing terrible and disgusting things can be used as an excuse for defending Drake against alleged pedophilia.
I hate how this conversation is only about Kendrick and Drake. I will say that Kendrick does need to answer for his continued proximity to Dre. So does Eminem, Snoop, everyone else in NWA. Everyone who’s been silent on his behavior. Same goes with all of Drake’s colleagues. Diddy’s colleagues. Etc. These are industry-wide patterns of abuse that will just keep perpetuating themselves if we stay silent. This is so much bigger than Kendrick and Drake, and it’s so frustrating to see the conversation go in circles around the beef. The entire industry needs to do better.
People need to stop minimizing the situation. Drake didn’t just kiss that 17 year old girl. After he kissed her, he realized she was 17, and said something along the lines of “How are you only 17? You’re art THICC! I like the way it feels when your breasts rub against my chest.” Drake may not necessarily be a “certified pedo”, but he is definitely a “certified creep, who’s attracted to underage girls.” I saw the video 3 years ago, and that’s why I stopped listening to Drake.
@@Derapy i’m being 100% serious when i tell you that, at least twice a day, i say things to myself in the editor derapy voice ( ( ( TUFF ) ) ) is a classic one
For the Drake fans still lurking, we(I’m speaking for myself/fam and friendz) did not need Kendrick to hate Drake’s generic ass music. I became a Kendrick fan in late February of this year (timing was crazy), knew Drake’s existence since 2016 and I never thought his music was special or contributed anything in my life personally and with conversations with the people closest to me during the beef I saw that the sentiment was shared. Wouodn’t go as far to say that his music was trash (let’s be objective) just bland. (And I didn’t even know the deviant allegations surrounding him) I would say Kendrick just exposed this new side of Drake in this battle and his mainstream status made it impossible to brush it off but to look into it closer.
@@estherapobangpo pretty much same story here. was a light Drake fan from 2016-2022ish, kinda lost interest when For All the Dogs dropped, but had little idea about Drake’s behavior. i knew he had kissed a fan on stage one time. but when Like That dropped, i finally paid more attention to Kendrick and dove deep into his music. at the same time, i dove deeper into the history of the rap beef. through the rap beef i basically learned that, kendrick really likes Tupac, and Drake is/has been really creepy, and possibly steals music from artists like The Weeknd. the more i learned about Drake, the less i wanted to do with his music
Dude I cant listen to drake in good faith anymore. it's always such a shame when Passionfruit comes on and I have to skip it. Drake ruined Drake for me 😔
Also we only know the bad things kendricks done is because he's came out and told us. Unprompted, and very openly in his music. With a heavy dose of self reflection
I don’t like Drake, but it started from him constantly going after his Exes (Rhianna, Sza, Serena, etc). When he pointed out that he previously slept with Sza, Sza was popping and the date/year he mentioned would have made Sza 17 or 18; barely legal at best. Then when he started making fun of Megan Thee Stallion’s trauma(shooting), I totally decided to not listen to Drake. The new Kendrick stuff just gave me a better understanding of why he was beginning to creep me out.
Love how that first guy was doing the Kendrick vs Drake thing but doesnt know Dre Helped Drake career too & Drake most played artist one year was 2Pac 😂😂😂
I was someone who did enjoy a Drake song every now and then, but I knew about how weird he was. And over the years, him hating on Rihanna, Megan, Serena, and others for seemingly childish reason, I realized, this man really is the biggest bully of hip hop. So I fully believe he deserved the whooping he got, and the way he handled certain things, like attacking Kendrick’s wife (more misogyny) and the heart part 6 with lines like “I’m too famous for the shit you just suggested”, i genuinely refuse to listen to him. Whenever i hear a drake song now i think about “to anyone that be playing his music just know that you playing your sister” and “YOU LIED” 😭
I like the way you interact with the community! Also, I'm a huge Kdot fan, but I always didn't like Drake and am sick of my dislike for him being branded as Kendrick glazing. It overshadows the real and inappropriate things Drake has done by simply going "haha kbot."
Hi derapy i am starting to really love your content. I listen to your videos at work when i cant really look at my screen. Love the talking points, and the fact you play songs in videos. When i'm more financially stable i will definitely support you.

me personally i stopped messing with drake when he did the whole misinterpretation of mother i sober and went on to "wail" on kendrick for being assualted as a child. as a csa victim that shit turned me off from drake, even as someone who didn't really mind him until now. everytime i hear his voice i can imagine him loterally being a 6 foot bully to anyone shorter than him, yelling at them for being molested. is it crazy? yeah, but that image enters my head and i just cant listen to his songs. i just find it crazy how people be willing to defend kissing a minor on stage. its like when playermuse accounts on nba twitter start going back and forth (more specifically, lonzo vs giddey, and the "your muse is a weirdo vs. yours hasnt played a game in 2 years). "but the age of consent-" it dont work, like that. "but she said-" the cops wouldnt care its the fact you did that to someone half your age. goodbye bruh
"just because it’s legal, doesn’t mean it’s ok" damn if this ain't what i've been feeling for fucking years bro. legal or not if you're 22+ phishing for and calling dibs on 18 year olds you're a predator
ngl I'm more disappointed to see the same people try to twist the narrative and act like all Drake did was actually a good thing when it clearly is not the case
People think you gotta like everything they like and care about what they care about, and they are 100% correct. Shame on you Mr. Dheryk P. I will be listening to all of drakes songs on repeat to teach you a lesson
Bro, a lot of these comments you can just tell who's a child and who's an adult online. A child will research some stuff online and not have the full context of a situation. And try to use it in conversations as got ya moments while trying to start a fight with you. Then use the thinnest of connections to try to say that you believe in a particular thing. In the words of Michael Jordan "Stop it, go get some help"
Drake stans are unstable emotional people who are way too attached to Drake’s balls to the point where they literally try to justify how weird & creepy Drake is. They also are so quick to bring up Kendrick to defend Drake when nobody mentions anything about Kendrick when they don’t wanna listen to Drake
I think what people also forget is that drake music also reflects the issues people have with him around underage girls. So it's in your face compared to other artist. Even so, whataboutism is not an excuse.
As a Drake fan, 👍😐👍 My main problem is the people who had knowledge of Drakes weird, kinda creepy and 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴 past and ignored it until Kendrick spoke up Yes, Drake has done some weird ass stuff. Suprise. Everyone has. I mean ffs Tyler is currently getting attacked as we speak for his cringy and downright FBI investigation level old tweets. The issue with ignoring it until a larger opinion comes around and says "hey this is bad" essentially undermines the actual issues and instead leads it to being a "this person I like more therefore they are correct" argument I just love his music, and that kiss on stage is my 2nd tower (also the mfs bringing race into it are WEIRRRRRDDDDD) Music, and art in general, has devolved into mfs placing opinions as facts and its frustrating. You can not only see it in music, but also in stuff like Fashion, and Artistic works A famous Mourinho quote comes to mind with situations like this in general, "Study hard, become a doctor, engineer or teacher. They are what world needs. Don't idolise footballers, some of them are pure trash."
For me, Kanye is like the JKR of rap (except he's actually talented and makes compelling art). I personally can't stand JRK, I think her writing sucks, I don't understand the appeal of Harry Potter (I was a Lord of the Rings kid) and I think she's a terrible person with terrible opinions. But at the same time, I really can't bring myself to care that much if other people still like Harry Potter for whatever reason. Do I dislike their taste in fantasy? Yes. Do I think there is better fiction out there for them? Yes. But ultimately, it's none of my business if they like her work and why. Similarly, I think Kanye is a repugnant person who had said repulsive things and I don't think that I can listen to him in good conscious anymore, but I can't deny the fact his art still hold value for some people and if it does it's literally none of my business. I can't change the fact that people like what they like, so it doesn't make sense to get upset about it. As long as they aren't also terrible people, we can be mature and agree to disagree on matters of taste.
"Non sexual act" it absolutely WAS sexual, especially in the context having heard Drake cry on stage about how thick he found this teenage girl to be and talking about her breasts
Bringing up Baka's weird case is not about guilt by association. It is to show how OVO is filled with bad people who do bad things and are enabled by Drake's money and influences.
I dont think everyone does have a “line” when it comes to entertainers. I think they have points cuz not only is the level of wrongness important but the type of wrongness is
Man the whole Tyga and Kylie "relationship" was/is absolutely gross. For those that don't know, back in 2015 Tyga wrote a song called "$timulated" about having a sexual relationship with Kylie Jenner, who had just turned 18 at the time of the songs release, when she was underage. The last line of the chorus is "They say she young, I should've waited. She a big girl, dog when she stimulated" and the song is built around a sample of a song called "Children" by Robert Miles. Apparently, according to Tyga's long term manager, the relationship had been more than friendly since she was 14 and when she was 16 they would fly out to countries where the age of consent is 16 or younger for reasons I think are obvious. Tyga was in his 20s throughout all of this. $timulated is straight up a statutory rape anthem and it's probably the nastiest song I've ever had the displeasure of hearing. Kanye said some inappropriate jokes about the relationship on The Breakfast Club, but he was clearly very uncomfortable with the situation. He kept awkwardly laughing and saying how he wasn't going to comment on people's relationships.
1. Hard-core Drake stans do not understand the concept of grooming. Whether or not the woman is 30 now and wants to wave away Drake being incredibly inappropriate with her is irrelevant she was a minor when it happened and therefore could not consent. 2. Drake used to be my favorite rapper when I was in high school early college years. But I noticed overtime that his music was not maturing and he started engaging in behavior in his personal life that I didn’t vibe with. On the other hand I feel like Kendrick’s music fits where I’m at in life and is maturing with me. I can see growth and accountability from Kendrick even when he is divulging his flawed behavior all over Mr. Morale. Drake frames himself personally and in his music as always having been in the right and as if it was always the other person who did him wrong while telling us in explicit detail all the ways was actually the problem or least part of it. He has no self-awareness and that’s why I can’t connect with his music that much anymore.
On the first one, only Drake fans would somehow put the blame on Kendrick fans to disavow the allegations against Kendrick's idol. Like, how many leaps of logic are necessary?
For the record, I think it is pretty low down to compare TUPAC'S wrongful imprisonment to Drake. PAC, in my opinion was set up and since the chick sodomized him on the club dance floor, she should have been sent to prison. He's dead and could care less. He's at peace and you Drake fans should know that.
The worst part about this entire argument is: There are people out there that can separate the art from the artist, so why are you wasting your time arguing about celebrities who at the end of the day mean nothing to you? You don't know them, and they don't know you! So mind your goddamn business!
The thing most Drake fans miss about the Dr. Dre domestic violence situations and even admittedly his recent divorce is that Dre may not speak much on them, but he’s been absent as a major celeb since the 2000s and at the very least he did briefly reminisce and apologise publicly for his behaviour in the past in his 2017 documentary ‘The Defiant Ones’ and recent interviews that may poke at it if he pops out. Anytime I bring this up people don’t push further since they’re that inept in the nuance of these topics. It’s now only brought up as a “whataboutism” in connection to Kendrick since the beef as a deflection from Drake’s inexcusable alleged behaviour. At the same time Drake has addressed his allegations with a victim mentality or silence and disregards not only his power dynamic as the biggest rapper in modern statistics of streaming data (Eminem beats him physically since he came out pre-DSPs, and even then he’s nearly on par) he also promotes general misogyny attitudes and degenerate behaviour and we all pretend it’s just ‘good pop party music’ when in reality he’s rinsed the same lyrics and topics from inception to target the biggest mainstream demographic instead of telling his genuine story. We don’t even hold him up to the same regards collectively to the quality of his music but youth nostalgia and toxic sex culture from a 38 year old deadbeat bachelor somehow is the testament of 21st century hip hop/pop music.
Some people thing "neutrality" or objectivity means "you were mean to one side so now you have to be mean to the other." No. Not how shit works. If you present the facrs for both sides, and the facts for one side are way worse than the other, then trying to slant things to look more even is the opposite of being objective. Objectivity is pointing towards the guy you've always liked and saying "okay, i gotta admit this is bad and i don't really wanna fuck with it anymore." AKA what you did with Drake.
fd signifier put this better than i ever could but like ENJOYING drake is fine at this point he's made an absolutely mind numbing amount of music it was inevitable some of it would be good but like if you LOVE drake if that's your FAVORITE rapper of all time if you're INSPIRED by this man if you CONNECT to him on a personal level that's when i'm side-eyeing you
sorry green buddy but if your strongest argument is "what about x y or z" then that means you endorse drakes actions! the hill you want to die on is "Drake did some weird shit and that is A okay" because trying to deflect, trying to say "but x y z did it too" means you are saying drake did it and yeah maybe it was just about legal, but morally its repugnant, no ways about it
When it comes to abusing your spouse, everyone agrees it's wrong. When it comes to abusing animals, everyone agrees it's wrong. When it comes to grown adults being sexual with kids...suddenly there's a debate. Why?
Drake stans could just say they love the music and want to separate the art from the artist, but they can't. They need to defend Drake and his actions because they identify with him and would do the same things he's done if they were given the opportunity. They want to be him.
If I'm the only person on this Earth who listened to Kendrick I would STILL listen to Kendrick. Drake fans need everyone to feel the same way they do cause they're as insecure as he is smh. If you like Drake like that than listen to him every day 24/7 but if someone who ISN'T YOU doesn't feel that way why take it personally? I don't need other people to like what I like for me to like it.
I enjoy the irony of Drake stans demanding everyone be neutral and unbiased to be hilarious for two reasons. 1. UA-camrs are not qualified journalists (with some exceptions, and have no obligation to remove their biases from their own content. And even within journalism, there is room for opinion. 2. They want to present themselves as only wanting to speak facts, but then they choose to ignore the mountains of suspicious and creepy factual actions Drake has taken towards underage girls across his entire career, and resort to what-aboutisms regarding Kendrick such as Dre or Pac as a defense of Drake. It's so easy to find video after video detailing all of Drake's gross actions, but they pretend none of the events happened, such as Drake paying out $300k$ to a victim in his own s3xual assault case.
A thing I want to point out is Kendrick volunteered that info without being caught (by the public, of my knowledge). Drake on the other hand got his behavior pointed out and lied about things. Both did bad things but it’s what they did after that defines them.
To think that there are still people TO THIS DAY (Nov. 30th) that think Drake's Heart pt.6 is a "good" rebuttal and still defend him is straight lunacy. Makes me a tad scared and wonder what went wrong for them to go down that path. People are right. Drake stans are just as bad, if not, worse than K-Pop stans a few years ago.

Spite is an excellent motivator.
They do the same thing to defend Kendrick’s weird ass stop it.
If you just ignore him kissing a 17yo, taking very weird pics with another, sliding on dms of many others, having lyrics that support that, being a colonizer, apropriating sounds and even accents, signing artistis to steal their songs, talking about women like a predator, and some other stuff, you can just listen to him
Yeah, it's just people so parasocial that they are used to a culture where consuming is an endorsement, and thus to enjoy something, it is tied to you - and if it's tied to you, the creator MUST be a GOOD PERSON, because you enjoy their stuff, which means that since you believe yourself to be a good person, and enjoy it, the only reality is that the artist is also good
i genuinely don't understand how anybody could even defend him as a person...Drake is not even a likable human being in the slightest.
@@JakeKoenig
What is "idiotic about the claim?
If the "claim" is acting "retroactively" that means it does not affect comments in the future only in the past.
What were the "woke BS bars" and how do you expect them to affect all of America?
Why is he expected to be ashamed of "demographic", demographic is not something you can change, you're born into a container that America likes to segregate people into>
I really don't believe you can steal a demographic.
People act like hypocrisy is on par or worse than actual harmful behavior.
!!!
"gesture towards supposed hypocrisy" is a favorite sleight of hand of assholes.
"okay my guy killed thirty kids but your guy said he didn't like frosted flakes but I found a picture of him eating them ;)"
Norm said the worst part is not the hypocrisy.
When I read this, I wanted to like the comment three time

I was saying this when the beef started bro I couldn't believe how many people were really that surprised over his public long overdue lambasting, I don't think I've even seen a fanbase react with such ignorance.
My thing is, people can still listen to him & it’s whatever to me(not in a bad way), but seeing him currently in the light he’s in, i just can’t listen in to his music the same as prior to the whole beef.

What kills me about the Dr. Dre and Kanye arguments is that they’ve completely given up on saying Drake isn’t bad, cause even they know he is. They have to talk about other rappers to deflect from the situation.

I can’t tolerate Drake at all anymore and don’t listen to him at all. Bashing Kendrick doesn’t make Drake more palatable.
Bruh, putting out 30+ mins to address the glazers is amazing. Keep at it, glazers need derapy 🤣
One time for the one time
he’s getting the comments derapy gettin the bag
At this point, I don't think Drake can handle his fans either
Pretty sure Drake is just working on his Spanish.
I have this friend, and he does not follow rap or hip-hop. During the beef, I was talking to him about Drake and how I never liked him because of his creepy behaviour around girls, and how I will probably never listen to his music. And he only has knowledge about the controversial stuff that hits the social media. So he said to me, "Well you like Kanye and he is very clearly supporting Nazi ideologies and Hitler, Why Don't you stop listening to his music??,"
I said to him that the first thing is I don't like Kanye, I like his music.
@@SpencerfromEarthnot the same at all
You can listen to kanye's music(donda and older) and hear a lot of good qualities, good properties and understandable things.
I feel the same way about R.Kelly. Like I think about all his victims and shudder in disgust.
I find it INSANE that people think that other rappers doing terrible and disgusting things can be used as an excuse for defending Drake against alleged pedophilia.
22:17 this person could be getting paid to write other people's essays but no he's here to gob drake's knob for five paragraphs for free 💀
They’re not going to because hip hop at the core isn’t the most PC genre and never has been, gangsta rappers in particular

Even so, whataboutism is not an excuse.
As a Drake fan, 👍😐👍
My main problem is the people who had knowledge of Drakes weird, kinda creepy and 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴 past and ignored it until Kendrick spoke up
Yes, Drake has done some weird ass stuff. Suprise. Everyone has. I mean ffs Tyler is currently getting attacked as we speak for his cringy and downright FBI investigation level old tweets. The issue with ignoring it until a larger opinion comes around and says "hey this is bad" essentially undermines the actual issues and instead leads it to being a "this person I like more therefore they are correct" argument
I just love his music, and that kiss on stage is my 2nd tower (also the mfs bringing race into it are WEIRRRRRDDDDD)
Music, and art in general, has devolved into mfs placing opinions as facts and its frustrating. You can not only see it in music, but also in stuff like Fashion, and Artistic works
A famous Mourinho quote comes to mind with situations like this in general, "Study hard, become a doctor, engineer or teacher. They are what world needs. Don't idolise footballers, some of them are pure trash."
Yall forget he also groped her
For me, Kanye is like the JKR of rap (except he's actually talented and makes compelling art).

I dont think everyone does have a “line” when it comes to entertainers. I think they have points cuz not only is the level of wrongness important but the type of wrongness is
I like listening to you reading these comments with explaining-my-brilliant-strategy anime music in the background

The point is Dre and Tupac are not in Dots payroll and constantly around his kids. Drakes pdf boys are
“But he’s still in your top five on Spotify wrapped “ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
💀
On the first one, only Drake fans would somehow put the blame on Kendrick fans to disavow the allegations against Kendrick's idol.
Like, how many leaps of logic are necessary?
For the record, I think it is pretty low down to compare TUPAC'S wrongful imprisonment to Drake. PAC, in my opinion was set up and since the chick sodomized him on the club dance floor, she should have been sent to prison. He's dead and could care less. He's at peace and you Drake fans should know that.
To be fair, graduation is a great album.

I fall victim to asking “where you out now?” Far too much. Not literally but on principal
We’re all trying to do better lol
The worst part about this entire argument is:
There are people out there that can separate the art from the artist, so why are you wasting your time arguing about celebrities who at the end of the day mean nothing to you?
Some people thing "neutrality" or objectivity means "you were mean to one side so now you have to be mean to the other."
No.
I'm glad everyone is starting to view Drake how I've always viewed him.
It's extremely refreshing.
fd signifier put this better than i ever could but like
ENJOYING drake is fine at this point
he's made an absolutely mind numbing amount of music it was inevitable some of it would be good
but like
if you LOVE drake
if that's your FAVORITE rapper of all time
if you're INSPIRED by this man if you CONNECT to him on a personal level
that's when i'm side-eyeing you
Admittedly I connected to old Drake sometimes in like 2011-16 days but he was never my all time fav rapper/artist.
sorry green buddy but if your strongest argument is "what about x y or z" then that means you endorse drakes actions! the hill you want to die on is "Drake did some weird shit and that is A okay" because trying to deflect, trying to say "but x y z did it too" means you are saying drake did it
and yeah maybe it was just about legal, but morally its repugnant, no ways about it
When it comes to abusing your spouse, everyone agrees it's wrong. When it comes to abusing animals, everyone agrees it's wrong. When it comes to grown adults being sexual with kids...suddenly there's a debate. Why?
Don't let nobody on this earth change the way of what you think about certain artists.
Drake stans could just say they love the music and want to separate the art from the artist, but they can't. They need to defend Drake and his actions because they identify with him and would do the same things he's done if they were given the opportunity. They want to be him.
14 views is crazy

Personally praying on Derapys success... bro been carrying my UA-cam algorithm 🥂
You should make this a series responding to Drake fans 😂
I’m not trying to encourage these losers to troll here lol
@@Derapy engagement is engagement my dude 🤣🤣🤣
This was so wild LMFAO dude was literally crashing out over the fact you don’t rock with BBL Drizzy 🤣🤣🤣
