I loved all the books and a big fan of the show just drives me crazy about the story lines not being connected in places. Mel thinking she was an orphan because both parents died and now she has a birth father, really? Totally disconnected
Enough characters in the show!
We don’t need Mandy Jack was never suppose to be married at all. So no that is another screw up in the writing of the story line . Mel says to Jack you have never been married so you can’t know how that feels,then we find out he was married. Jack had 4 sisters no mention of a Brit her then he has only Brie and a brother . The writers and runner need to get a handle on these Contradictions and lapses in the story.also Mel now has a missing Dad? Really?

No season five was great Jack and Mel got so much closer and deeper in their love and understanding and openness with each other. Loved it and all the cute moments they shared. Mel’s dance and Jack likes it. The errr kiss in the tent . The bring up Surrogacy because he wanted her to have her dream that is now his dream but didn’t want her to have any pain because of what he wanted. The farm scene at the end where she has tough about it and she says I can build our home here and we can fill it with kids, our kids whenever they come or however they come . Understand and openness Jack says it is perfect. Loved it. There was sadness but it set it up for a lot of happiness when they get their dream.
