Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on UA-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on UA-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on UA-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

I saw Marvin perform this at Radio City Music Hall in the 80’s. He performed it in white satin pajamas. I remembered riding a bus and little boy no more than 5 years was singing this He knew every word. It was hilarious hearing the words come from a child’s voice.

Marvin Gaye may have prepped everyone for this song with his earlier hit song "Let's Get It On"😊 It's a great song too.

Remember back in the eighties sitting in a quiet bar! This song played and all of sudden this Jamaican dude got up and started dancing to it! His flow and motion matched this song perfectly!
Didn’t know anything about a bar yet but here I was, an 11 hear old white farm girl dancing around singing this song. It was my favorite and hilarious to think about!!

For decades, Marvin Gaye and Luther Vandross were the kings of baby making music. Get It On, is his biggest hit.
I'd add Barry White and Teddy Pendergrass to that list.
Marvin Gaye had such a nice voice and his music was always enjoyable to listen to.
I was in the army when this song came out, living in the Barricks. Everyone was playing it, you could hear it walking down the hallways, it was such a big hit!

For great vocals and emotional expressions, please check "When Did You Stop Loving Me, When Did I Stop Loving You" and "Distant Lover (Live version)". It would be interesting to listen to Marvin Gaye's original version of "Don't Do It" and compare with The Band's cover, which opens their concert movie "The Last Waltz". Also the classic duets with Tammi Terrell: "Ain't No Mountain High Enough", "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing", and "You're All I Need to Get By."

The radio played the heck outta this song. I don’t remember any real controversy over the material. 70’s and 80’s were more of an anything goes kind time in some ways,
