This is one of mt favorite songs to Kingdom Hearts 2 ever since my childhood, I get so hype when I hear it knowing it's about to go down. I would play this song to workout, or if it was the end of the world to fight to survive during a rainy night I would play this song.
I loved this song it gets me pumped up, motivated, and prepare for a final battle it makes me wanna be prepare for a war, or a fight against an army. I love Kingdom Hearts since my childhood from the beginning and I still have this game on my PS2 system one of the best Kingdom hearts songs ever.
I loved the shades of the title theme in the final boss track, here. It's a brilliant tactic that's been used numerous times in games, and it always works perfectly.
Came here just to comment that! This is my favourite boss theme from the series for that reason, it feels like it ties the games up. Like this is THE boss fight.
I remember the moment this theme played 17 years ago, when my brother reached him for the 1st time, I thought this is the last final fight. It gave so many flashbacks of his journey since his 1st departure from Destiny Island and they made me believe that this is it and we won't see them anymore, and it's a last goodbye. After this, I always felt that this should be the last theme and the fight in the white void with the slow tone would contrast it well as the 1st or right after his 3rd form with this theme playing on the background, right before the slow concluding duel.
As if slicing through buildings wasn't bad ass enough shortly after the hundred battles you do you are mashing x and 🔼 as xemnas is blasting millions of lasers at you and riku . Truly amazing finaly at the time
Same here. It doesn't have the melancholic yet triumphing instrument that plays at 1:09. It looses oomph and sorrow when played by the strings in the orchestrated version
It's easy to not even realize how intense and epic the situation is at this point. Sora and Riku boarding a massive Nobody fortress/ship while having skyscrapers lobbed at them. Destroying the motors, fighting a large group of Nobodies while breaking through a sturdy defense barrier, while extremely sharp defensive implements try to skewer them from above. The boss that can't move from his throne setup may not seem very threatening, but that changes when you realize his attacks are trying throw you off the ship and into space, in a world that technically doesn't even exist. Followed by another round where he succeeds multiple times, essentially throwing both Sora and Riku into potential nonexistence. While shooting two different kinds of lasers at them as they try to reboard the ship. Oh, and also throwing skyscrapers again. I guess they bought those in bulk at Costco or something.

It's just they didn't need to live in darkness for this, they are corrupt? I kind of forgot things in the kingdom hearts story, I played birth by sleep but I forgot the story. But I really liked terra.
@flameshooter07 aybe his EX Burst could be based on his Final Form, using reaction commands as Limit Burst Imput. He could be as Lightning, he could switch to either Defensive, Offensive or Magic mode by key swapping (as they make you choose your fighting style at the begining of KH). The Chaos counterpart could be Riku or Terra.
@?? First Game was Kh2 for me, then played some others (some just halfway but like DDD i completed), but i realy dont got into KH3. I tested it für lik 2Hours and it was just... boring. Just Cutscenes and thats it. I dunno, didnt felt the Magic like i felt in KH2/358 1/2 Days/DDD/BBS... And it is realy downer that the big mainline Third Game dont have German Voice. I mean its a big nostalgic kick, when u hear Mickey, Donald & co with the voices you love and know since u was kid. And Even the new Intro Theme didnt catched me...
KH3 just doesn't compare to this game. I don't understand how people can play both of these games and come out and say 3 is better. I wanted 3 to be good SO BADLY, I waited 6 years for it. I wouldn't even care if it was on par with this game, my expectations aren't what made the game worse for me, it's just that Square/Square Enix can't make amazing games anymore. I have faith in Final Fantasy 16 though, that's it atm

@Kyoshiro5411 Dissidia was originally going to be a KH game, but Disney wouldn't allow it. However, they have released KH outfits for some characters, so who knows. Maybe if they make a 3rd one they'll include Sora, Riku, Ansem, etc. For know, we'll have to settle for Netherit's (awesome) mods.

But yeah certain places I could imagine adding a a unlockable stage would probably be between destiny islands, traverse town, or hollow bastion. Not quite sure on the world that never was but it might work with the tower bit. The only other cool thing I could think about adding to dissidia would be star ocean cameos or something.

every time i see this boss i remember goofy tornedo attack because he was doing it a lot even it becomes slowed down when the final attck on the boss, it was awesome looking slowed down it stuck into my head to this day

He was talking about Xemnas and how he performed his voice being the leader of Organization XIII and making Xemnas's voice so deep and profound. @Valosken Ansem is a mixture of Terra's & Master Xehanort's younger self's body and wears master Xehanort's old self's clothes & inherits his obsession of the darkness. Xemnas is Terra's older self (sexy as hell), and has his personality as well as Master Xehanort's black cloak (which later becomes Organization XIII's signature hooded coat).

Xemnas is one of Nomura's coolest looking character designs. Such an imposing figure. His (English) voice really helped make his character, too.

This final boss fight wouldn't be half as legendary as it is without Yoko Shimomura's breathtaking music. A Fight to the Death and Darkness of the Unknown are musical masterpieces.

I think the consensus on Xemnas is that the battle is epic and thrilling, but awfully easy. To me, the difficulty just makes it better because I can have the full cinematic experience without having to get stopped twenty times.
I feel like its difficulty showed just how strong you had become. Remember in the start, fighting even regular enemies seemed a little challenging. Now, you can just tear through entire skyscrapers and take swords made of nothingness directly to your spine.

This is one of mt favorite songs to Kingdom Hearts 2 ever since my childhood, I get so hype when I hear it knowing it's about to go down. I would play this song to workout, or if it was the end of the world to fight to survive during a rainy night I would play this song.

I remember the moment this theme played 17 years ago, when my brother reached him for the 1st time, I thought this is the last final fight. It gave so many flashbacks of his journey since his 1st departure from Destiny Island and they made me believe that this is it and we won't see them anymore, and it's a last goodbye. After this, I always felt that this should be the last theme and the fight in the white void with the slow tone would contrast it well as the 1st or right after his 3rd form with this theme playing on the background, right before the slow concluding duel.

It's easy to not even realize how intense and epic the situation is at this point. Sora and Riku boarding a massive Nobody fortress/ship while having skyscrapers lobbed at them. Destroying the motors, fighting a large group of Nobodies while breaking through a sturdy defense barrier, while extremely sharp defensive implements try to skewer them from above. The boss that can't move from his throne setup may not seem very threatening, but that changes when you realize his attacks are trying throw you off the ship and into space, in a world that technically doesn't even exist. Followed by another round where he succeeds multiple times, essentially throwing both Sora and Riku into potential nonexistence. While shooting two different kinds of lasers at them as they try to reboard the ship. Oh, and also throwing skyscrapers again. I guess they bought those in bulk at Costco or something.

@?? First Game was Kh2 for me, then played some others (some just halfway but like DDD i completed), but i realy dont got into KH3. I tested it für lik 2Hours and it was just... boring. Just Cutscenes and thats it. I dunno, didnt felt the Magic like i felt in KH2/358 1/2 Days/DDD/BBS... And it is realy downer that the big mainline Third Game dont have German Voice. I mean its a big nostalgic kick, when u hear Mickey, Donald & co with the voices you love and know since u was kid.
And Even the new Intro Theme didnt catched me...
KH3 just doesn't compare to this game. I don't understand how people can play both of these games and come out and say 3 is better. I wanted 3 to be good SO BADLY, I waited 6 years for it. I wouldn't even care if it was on par with this game, my expectations aren't what made the game worse for me, it's just that Square/Square Enix can't make amazing games anymore. I have faith in Final Fantasy 16 though, that's it atm

@@jonasfadi8213 I literally play FF14, that's why I'm looking forward to 16. I have like 2000 hours, it's one of the best games I've ever played. FF14 is like the rare exception and sure NieR is too but those are games that don't come out very often. I love Square but they are hit or miss

This theme is way ahead of its time. It should’ve been preserved whenever Sora, Riku, and Kairi team up to fight a final boss or something. Sadly Kairi was left out at the end of kh2.
This makes him look more like Sephiroth than Xemnas, if you ask me. The cold look, theway the hair falls... It gives off an eerie Sephiroth aura.

@Kyoshiro5411 Dissidia was originally going to be a KH game, but Disney wouldn't allow it. However, they have released KH outfits for some characters, so who knows. Maybe if they make a 3rd one they'll include Sora, Riku, Ansem, etc. For know, we'll have to settle for Netherit's (awesome) mods.

@flameshooter07 His limit break could be reaction commands, And they could get rid of the Lock on thing in KH2, And just have normal lock on, and have trinity as one of his linking moves for bravery attacks, Like omni slash or bitter end.

@dewybmt That would be really random yet cool if they just had sora waving in the background. But yeah certain places I could imagine adding a a unlockable stage would probably be between destiny islands, traverse town, or hollow bastion. Not quite sure on the world that never was but it might work with the tower bit. The only other cool thing I could think about adding to dissidia would be star ocean cameos or something.

@derykstg a final fantasy game that was originally supposed to BE a kingdom hearts game. but was cancelled because of disney thinking it was taking their characters too far. so yes, it did need kingdom hearts music, because it was technically meant to BE kingdom hearts. =)

I will always remember a quote Paul St Peter (Xemnas's English voice actor) said in a voice acting panel once. He was talking about Xemnas and how he performed his voice being the leader of Organization XIII and making Xemnas's voice so deep and profound. @Valosken Ansem is a mixture of Terra's & Master Xehanort's younger self's body and wears master Xehanort's old self's clothes & inherits his obsession of the darkness. Xemnas is Terra's older self (sexy as hell), and has his personality as well as Master Xehanort's black cloak (which later becomes Organization XIII's signature hooded coat).
