20 years ago today Linkin Park released their debut album - Hybrid Theory. A record which had a great impact on my life and music. The meaning of the song Runaway basically tells about the true story of the vocalist, Chester Bennington. When Chester was a child, he was sexually abused by an older friend. He felt the desire to escape (Runaway), from his naughty friends. From this event, Chester was mentally affected. He is afraid of being blamed by people, he is afraid of being blamed by society, he is also sorry for hanging out with the wrong people.

This is a wonderful remix. When I heard it first yesterday, I was impressed of Chesters voice. Usually it's a bit hidden behind heavy instrumentals. However in your remix it's much more present. I could hear how good Chesters vocals are (for example on the verses). Thank you for sharing this remix with us. It's awesome.

Brilliant Remix. I don’t think Linkin Park ever ever got that style you captured here, like an undead feeling. I maybe would’ve added some backing vocals and harmonies in the bridge around 1:53 until the end.
