Good luck, man! I hope you do well in this tournament. LOZ is one of 5 home lakes in Missouri for me. Watch out for Todd Castledine. He'll be scoping like a mad man with his fairy wands. Lol
imo, I don't think a guy should necessarily be looking at past winners so much as who finished in top 10 status in recent years. eg; last year, T Castledine One of the smartest thought pattern anglers out there- his strategy was, only a couple of spots where he could fish deep with ffs then, when the bite slowed, go shallow nearby. When that slowed, go back out to the ffs fish and , rinse and repeat. imo, all of the stained water fish will be stung and filtered through by the start of the tx. LTO is enormous and finding a few muliti-pattern spots can be difficult but theoretical 'doable' Spending 3 hours of a tx day running for dirty water is risky. I think its still a few weeks away from the start of the fall turn over (breaking up the thermocline, and think the fish are still on deep summer patterns. But, I don't really know much. This is just opinion. Good luck Jim!
Did you get your Mn Co-Angler you were looking for? Your perseverance and results may be a struggle in your eyes, but it's inspiring and admirable to me. Best wishes this week.
Rooting for you Jim! Good luck.

Setting in the 20th spot doesn't really constitute a bad season in my eyes. That's just simply "Getten-it-Done" my brother!
Well, it's 20th place in the loser pool. LOL
