To be honest, this reminded me of Labradford and/or Krobak in the first parts, especially in the first track “If I Can Find My Way Through the Darkness...”. There is literally a sense of yearning in each track aside from the interludes “Nuclear Winter (Dispatches)”, “The Haunted Falls (Let Us Now Praise Harry Powell)” and an untitled track in the near end of the album. This is good post-rock if you like non-crescendocore stuff like this.
