1000 Players Simulate A Civilization In Minecraft: The Tavern Story
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 лип 2024
- Today, 1000 players simulate a civilization in Minecraft! Players spawn on four islands, roughly evenly spread out. It is up to them to create their own nations and towns. However, there was one group who had another idea: To create a Tavern.
This video is about the Story of The Tavern and their adventures throughout this experience.

Background:
The Event started in the beginning of August, however this idea had been in the works for a while. I brought up the idea to at the time, random people, of wanting to make a Tavern in the next civilization video to bring out peace and a place for all to relax, but also nations could utilise for organised meetings. This video is just that. The Plains Island was thought to be a place of many RDMs before the event, however with a peace meeting throughout, it became one of the most peaceful places actually. The Plains island had a lake with a single small island in the center. After debate, Mindless helped convince the other Plains nations that this spot is perfect for The Tavern as we are completely peaceful and have to problem with any nation for no reason.
A special thanks to ish, the creator/host of the event, those who put it together, and all that participated.
The credits at the end go more in detail.
Another special thanks to the people who helped provide footage for this video in order for me to make it happen and really make something out of it!

Personal Note:
Well if you still found this, good job to you, as I hid it at the bottom. As I'm writing this before the video is even public, any support I really do appreciate. Many people came to The Tavern, and always held us in high regards. I cannot say thank you enough. This edit was my biggest ever, and I can say that I want to do more of these in the future. An edit where I can not only tell, but show a story, a mini-film. I hope I can make more of these in the future, and I think they'll get better and better in time. Again, thank you so much for watching or even just being apart of the experiment Ish hosted. Thank you. - Ігри
Tavern was the go-to place for everything from meetings to weddings to just a casual beverage and good time. Way to bring everyone together!
That was the plan! A place all could enjoy, no matter their home island or group!
On Jaw Fr, Fr.
Pog
I love how several different UA-camrs have made videos on this experiment from different perspectives. I also love how everyone else is so focussed on war and diplomacy, while you are just focussed on running a nice tavern for everyone 😆. It's amazing.
That was one big point for The Tavern. Something different and unique, and we just focus on serving customers but also helping maintain peace with meetings!
@@KillaSnow this was a nice change of pace! nice job! i loved the banners!
There were so many different people in it and it's probably one of, if not, THE best ones made.
@@Crispifordthe3rd515 Yeah, I just love the vibe of the Tavern. Everyone else is forming alliances and worrying about the Acumen Empire, but in the tavern it's all just chill vibes.
@@KillaSnow tbh that is so great for the political stability of the world too, providing a neutral ground for meetings and such.
20:49 I like how calm they were as they served beer while they were *literally inside the frontlines* of the greatest battle in history
Gotta serve the thirsty soldiers!
What even funnier is that the invaders just stop see a pub stand and say “ya nows a good time”
@@spaceengineeringempire4086 goodday chaps, fancy a pint on this glorious evening of war?
Hey, throughout history, good alcohol on the front lines was a great way to raise moral.
Bro setting up a tavern in the Battle of Aculon has the same vibes as the US having a dedicated ice cream ship in WW2
Gotta serve the thirsty soldiers!
Love how the final battle is basically just a footnote in this video, lol
LOL I mean yeah, We didn't do much of any fighting. Just serving beer in the War Time Beer Stall!
See this is why Ish's civilization experiments are unmatched. Instead of goinf the route of others and having it just be a glorified pvp video, ish encourages RP and cool projects like this to make the vids 100x more interestinf. Great job🙏
I don't know know what I like more: Ish's video about the whole experiment, or these stories that keep popping up about what happened during the experiment. I'm glad the Tavern kept to its guns no matter what.
Absolutely!!
I like these stories better because they weren't made up out of thin air like Ish's
@@007Hutchings Trust me, they aren't made up out of thin air. Ish does have to change small details, but that is only in order for people to really understand the plot. An example of this is Elanuelo. Video stated he was in a bunker for 6 days, in reality, his PC was broke and wasn't able to get on until after those days. However, he still directed all of aculon through discord and paid a close eye on everything. Ish doesn't make up stuff just to do it, but only for the average viewer to be able to make sense is all.
Sorry if this seems like a tangent. Many people think the same things, I just like to let them know how it was in my video versus his and such!
@@KillaSnow in ish story, davarit died in the attempt to kill the sultan and that was the trigger to have his brother betray the sultan and kill the sultan. That is a major plot.
After a few days, i saw someone's video from the desert tribe. Davarit is alive and fighting along with his brother on the final battle.
Ish has good story but i felt deceived
@@legatosummers7327 Ish needs to be banned
Thank you for letting us Plains Leaders use your second floor. Your service was always top notch.
I already have the perspective of a historian admin, of a player who wanted revenge for the death of his sulta, of a cultist who praised capitalism as a religion and that of a citizen of Acalon who fled and returned to bring freedom to his land. Now I will see that of a bartender who just wanted to be calm with his beer and friends.
I think I'm addicted to this kind of videos xd
So that’s EKJ 9000 ender and snow, who’s the cultist?
Who is the historian admin?
@@Zekor4 ish

So basically the Tavern was the Switzerland of the server lmao
Kinda yeah! LOL
as a desert player who died the day borders fell this is actually my first time learning about some major world events lol
17:50 legendary Wazzock's death
With how many of these events devolve into civil war and backstabbing, the fact that the plains nations were able to come together and achieve peace genuinely surprised me. Im sure that was in no small part due to the cozy abode you offered as a place of discussion. Seems that the spirit of the tavern had an effect on more than just the common players, and likely had a bigger impact than most diplomats in other nations
It's all in the diplomacy 😎
Really hope this becomes a reoccurring faction in future civilization videos, even if you aren't the one heading it. While all the drama and war surrounding the other factions are entertaining, this feels like a breath of fresh air amid all the chaos ^^
I typically didn’t plan on it. However, maybe it’s something that can spur on something interesting
Haha, I can say I won't be doing the Tavern again for one because I like playing different characters and with different people each event, repeating factions is a boring concept to me (which is why I dislike The Sultanate, they rehashed the same concept over 5 events)
But I wouldn't be against people making their own Tavern so long as they give it their own unique twist, cause one event I was in shortly after Ish's video blew up had a Tavern that was very clearly a copy of my design (used the same block palette, sold honey bottles renamed beer, had my signature leaky beer barrel design, etc.)
@@Mindless0i gotta say thats a bit cringe
This event and the players within it are what gives me hope for the future of minecraft.
The Beauty in which people cover thiers and thier friend's story bursts me into tears every time, that with our advances are additude towards a situation, we can do things nobody has ever done before, and go, where no one goes.
No lie, Replay Mod just changes the game entirely. Now, even other types of simple videos can almost be made even more so in 3rd person and be more immersive with the beautiful scenes that can be created.
I'm glad you Taverners were part of this journey, both for making an important community hub and a unique third perspective on the events outside of the political aspects. And great work on all the camera shots, showing the beauty of the growing tavern island
Thanks! Couldn’t have done anything without everyone involved and all those who came to visit! Whatever civ-type video I do in the future which I do intend to do, I’m hoping the camera shots are much cleaner!
Y'all were so helpful that we're probably going to rename FedEx to the Treaty of the Tavern! Thank you for providing content and peace!
Peace and beer! And I have been watching what Ish is saying!
@@KillaSnow (This was a way to help others know what's coming, I know you're in the Group Chat lol)
Shh ;)
Watched this all the way through days ago but forgot to comment about how amazing and well-made this was! Was great to see the tavern side of many international conflicts and overall a fun side of the experiment. Cheers
Thank you so much!! I hope to do similar edits in the future and to get better at it! All rounds, there can be things to improve, but thank you so much!!
I'm planning on finding as many pov's of this crazy event and making it a playlist. This whole event was just crazy and the stories that happend are truly beautiful
gimme the playlist
It's hilarious watching the story unfold from other players' perspectives. We need more content like this. Also an even bigger scale civilisation. Minecraft MMORPG.
Tavern was basicly the bartender casually watching the bar fight
We were the new Beetlejuice meme LOL
Few Corrections: As a member of The Shore.
The Sidefall Trials was because he was Leader of UPS and they thought he was a Aculon spy (he was not)
It was not 7/11 it was Big Alliance
Apologies, thanks for letting me know! I was not in the entire trial of Sidefall, as well the discord server for many nations, so the Tavern Story is perspective based, not a full lore of the whole event. To add with the 7/11, I've heard now three names: the 7/11, The Bastion of Peace, and now the Big Alliance. It's seeming there wasn't a concrete name, but I went with the 7/11 due to the poll Solev did. Thanks for letting me know!
@@Nick-ji7lv Yeah I heard it was a joke, I just didn't have much to go off of since I didn't even know of the groups official names or that it was 7/11, etc. Burney informed me, but it was only two days ago, so I had no time to make fixes due to work.
@@KillaSnow i completely understand, just thought that a little perspective would have made it a little easier to understand
@@Nick-ji7lv No it does, for sure! Thanks you both! I wish I could I have known of what was going on around, but I just kept my head engaged with The Tavern!
@@Nick-ji7lvmore like bastion of invasions and war crimes lmao
I love that you set up a beer stall in The Battle of Aculon.
These guys pulled the best move by dealing drinks to all sides meaning maximum profit and power among the server. Gigachads
it's so cool seeing all the perspectives of all who participated in the one thousand player civilization experiment
Your story really stuck out to me in ish's video. I feel like I'd have been on your team if I'd played in this event. Reminded me of a tavern from a server I played on. Good times.
Oh yeah didn't they set up that neutral ground area?
Aye thanks!!!
@@ianmcguire2851 Yup! One of our main principles was the Tavern was always neutral and we picked no sides. A good characteristic to help be a great place to for international meetings!
Why are these story arcs my favorite thing on UA-cam.. Loved it man. Glad this story didn't go without being told.
I have to say, it's quite wholesome to see you decided to showcase the Cookie Factory!
I am glad we could have such partnership between our two business and stay good buddies! o/
bro how tf did so much story video come from one event, this is epic
The power of beer....LOL
This must've been such a beautiful and unique experience. I definitely would also want to do something wholesome rather than join an empire. That island was perfect!
The chronicles from this experiment is really amazing
its funny to see the vastly different stories. you have the tales of the tavern and the the tragedy of the emirates.
Big final battle happening, let the Tavern people open up a beer stand near the fighting.
Precisely. A great business and branding opportunity!
bros were chilling while some heavy shit was going on in the Sultanate and in Aculon
LOL YUP
I love how the tavern serves as the continental hotel in John wick with similar rules and a creator and parties dedicated to maintaining those strict rules of peace and neutrality with possible consequences of breaking those rules enforced by the nations.
I was a member of the invisible hand and it was an honor to visit your beutifull tavern.
The tavern is just amazing, and im so glad i managed to witness it for myself in game
Not only did it have great scenery being on a small island in the middle of a pond, but it was just an amazing place for hanging out with people, getting food and drinks, having weddings, or discussing diplomacy
War raging and people are just buying food in the middle of it, my kind of war.
I watched the main episode about the wars, nations and all the leaders and then I found this. Your tavern saved the plans from civil war and it became a safe space
I managed to visit it and served the finest beverage. Great video
Thank you lad!
Ngl, 17:30 and 17:49 is pretty funny. Didn't realize it was below me all along.
i love how the literal first thing that's said about ish is that he's a gemmer
We aren't wrong!
Crazy seeing the different stories coming out of this event. Some people got really lucky, whilst others got war and conflict. This experiment really captures the essence of what real life is like as well, great job on the tavern guys.
Hey thanks so much!
Months later and me realizing that this was the first video i watched involving this simulation. Literally months before Ish finally uploaded his video. Damn.
loved the video. I find it really cool how you look into a very specific and niche area of the server.
Thanks!
So happy I got to watch your story from your POV. Easily my favorite place in the series! Excited to see what you plan for next project!
Much is yet to be decided!
Gahd... after watching Ish's "100 player civ video" ages ago i stumbled over this project a few days ago... now getting those other perspectives to his dramatic political movie about it is so amazing. Watched one about the Invisible Hand yesterday... now this about the propably most important single place in the projects history and got one recommended allready about a snow dictatorship citizen.
Absolutely stunning video. I'm not crying, you are.
WE ARE CRYING
sobbing uncontrollably rn
This 1k players video opened the opportunity for us to discover a lot of stories from many of the participants. It has now basically a whole lore of it
its amazing seeing everyones perspectives to the event and what happens to them at the end war
Battle of Aculon: *exists*
Tavern: “fancy a pint?”
The ending is so clean, awesome vid snow.
Thank you so much!
Great work sir. Cheers 🍻
Thanks!!
It’s taverning time 😈
"Act famous" "We are(wtf)"

Absolutely loved this mate. Your editing / script writing / voice overs were perfect. Ish aint got nothing on this ;) - Joosh xx
Much improvement for the future, but thank you, I'm happy you enjoyed it!
Ish's video just dropped. And I gotta say, this comment has officially aged. No doubt though, this video is awesome. And Ish's video brought me here.
@@GGutium problem is Ishs video was scripted this was real
@@crossfall4462 welcome to the USA, this is Hollywood
@@GGutium Deadass great production but would have been even cooler if it was less scripted
This was 8 months ago and the real video was 4 days ago. Really goes to show how much effort was put into everything, a whole year!
Having watched several different perspectives, it seems to me that the tavern was a key player in uniting the free world, which in turn contributed greatly in the great war, albeit indirectly.
Had plains been divided, I find it unlikely that the allies would’ve won.
It’s very possible! Luckily with a lot of political conflict, The Tavern was neutral on all grounds, even in the likes of Aculon and welcomed any and all people. It is possible Aculon very well could have gained more support is peace was not made within Plains!
Cool seeing other people's povs on Ish's vid, great video man
Hey thanks!!!
based on all the videos i've seen from this event from the various players it does seem plains came out this the best/most successful
Just finished the vid, and this is perfect.
I loved it 😭😭😭😭

Absolutely beautiful work editors well done and thanks
Thank you!
Dam the interstate highway big I wish other servers had mega projects like this because Its such a good way of travel if I was in this I would have used it heaps.
I love watching it from different perspective

This is so good. GOOD JOB ON EVERYTHING!!!!
i love seeing other povs because it shows what was really going on vs what ish told us
Super cool video! Thanks for your pov!
Thanks! And of course!
I enjoyed stealing from y’all but the tavern was the go to place in all of the islands 🙏
OUCHHHH. LOL. But appreciate it being a nice go-to place!
I absolutely love seeing all the perspectives on this epic simulation. I love seeing the tavern being entertainment focused and contrasting so brilliantly against the more political and intrigue focused other videos!
Hey thank you so much!!
Thank you for hosting the invisible hand's best drinking party
Amazing top quality video!
SOLEV! I’m so glad he’s still here
This is so cool
Long live the tavern! Subscribed for more merry stories like this :) This tavern story was the one, making you guys the group I liked most after watching many perspectives :)
Hey thank you so much! Some ideas are def in the work and a possible small series to have more unqiue Tavern content as well!
@@KillaSnow Oh that would be soo nice! I just returned watching all state2 videos I can find and it would be awesome if there was more! Sad that me and my friends do not have the ability to participate, I was pretty inspired by the tavern and it would be cool if I could play as the wandering merchant/international neutral caravan that traded around the world gathering goods, guarding our stuff and recording tales/actual perspectives around the world lol
I wonder if it could be better if Ish didnt put border restrictions so traveling merchants would have worked better: the tavern was amazing and I only had the ability to build matchboxes and stuff
I wonder what tavern in its full form would've been like... it might've been nice if there was a 2.5 where people returned to the ruins of this season's builds, allowing possible refurnishing etc
whatcha think :)
Incredible video snow
FOR SCOTLAND!
Amazing builds!
The Tavern was a freakin wholesome place.
yo this getting me hyped for 2.5 🔥
Love from The Oasis. The Tavern was great!
Let’s goooo
I have to be honest. This tavern is the only reason why i want to be in one of these civilazation videos. The idea of making something ment to bring people together and share fun moments with.
Danm that turkey guy sounded like he was awesome
Great video cutie :)
Thank you 😋
Turkey is awesome, no doubt
Underrated
Thank you mate! Hope to do more stuff like in the future!
Such a peaceful happy story :D
I didn’t NOT expect an abridged version of The Red Wedding 😭😔❤️🩹
Cameo of the Pastor Bacca of Nerdtopia at 7:44 definitely great content
as well as the blue meth/blue glass pane I accidentally placed at 8:02
The wedding nonetheless was great to host, happy to see the couple come together and so many in attendance!

It's so sad Mimp died. :(
Maah!
We need a 3000 experiment so we get more videos with different perspectives
This is the 5th video I've watched on this experiment now. Cool to find out the tavern folk helped build the cookie factory. Monkey getting lightning bolted at a wedding was funny also. This 1000 player experiment is bloody awesome, absolutely love it 👌🤌👍
sounds fun, how did you guys sort yourself into it? it looks great fun and I hope you guys appear next event id love to visit
Hey thanks! Back in I think February of 2022, I had the idea of The Tavern because well, I do enjoy a nice beer.
