This is the truth of the word regarding tithing. When you read the context of the scriptures in the Old Testament the tithing were to give to the priest, widows and Orphans and they gave their goods, possessions not money . In the New Testament we are to give willingly, cheerfully from the heart what we have set aside in our hearts to give . That is what the Word says .
Me too and I am still suffering the effects of it. Trying to come out of it's grisp is a life's work in partnership with Holy Spirit. Thanks for the word of light.
