My mom was a tree hugger. She absolutely loved trees her entire life. Fast forward to when she turned 80 years old. She was diagnosed with dementia & the only thing that would bring her back to us was taking her out into nature and letting her hug a tree. It was always such a beautiful connection to experience, and now I am finding myself pulling over on the side of the road, if I see a beautiful tree, so I can give it a hug, just like my mom used to. 🌳🌴🌲🤗

Can you imagine that even an angel transformed into a brown trout for you to see in the stream to add valuable information that - WE NEED TO PROTECT OUR FISH IN THE STREAMS, RIVERS, AND OCEANS. That brown trout - the only one in that stream is not a coincidence. The brown trout just kept looking at you like it was also attentively listening. It's like it's saying to Lorna - keep it going, mate! Incredible!
I love how Lorna sees Archangel Michael nearly on the daily and is still like "woahhh, come quietly, THERE'S A TROUT!!!"🤣 Lorna is so adorable. Sending love to everyone who reads this and also to everyone who doesn't 😂😀🥰
You know when the brown trout kept looking at them through the zoomed camera lens, I don't think that brown trout just appeared there for no reason. And for Lorna to see that camouflaged brown fish with those brown stones is just incredible. I think the angel is super smart to make himself into a fish so Lorna will notice it and make an important message about the value of protecting our fish, too. Did you see, the fish is actually paying attention.😁
In the US, people who are against environmentalists call us "tree huggers" to mock us. One day, I was joking around with my mom while we were outside in her front yard, taking pictures. I wrapped my arms around the trunk of one of her tall trees and my mom took a photo of me being a "tree hugger." As i was playfully "hugging" the tree, I felt the love of that tree! It was such a nice feeling and it was unmistakably a feeling of love coming from the tree. Since then, I've hugged a couple of other trees and every time I feel that same feeling. It's true what she's saying about trees. They are aware, and they do feel love. Hug a tree really tight (when no one else is around, lol), and I bet you will feel that love from them too.
I am a tree hugger too. We were on vacation in California visiting the giant sequoias and I would rest my whole body on them and hug them. Incredible energy of peace, calm, love, just instantly felt it radiating into my body. People laughed and snickered at me as they walked by but I don’t care. I traveled all the way across the country to hug these trees. I don’t understand why people think it’s so weird. They really should try it sometime.😊
I can feel energy when I touch trees and if I stay and meditate I can see the energy and once got a vision of a big eye and a message that said “we see you too” I was so delighted!!
I feel their energy too! I have a tree in my yard and a few around the neighborhood that I feel really drawn to. I speak to them as often as I can. They are our friends and allies. They are pillars of God's light, anchoring love into the planet. If we tune in and meditate with them... they can share their wisdom with us. I have found that sometimes we have to build trust first though, because they can feel our energy too. I love trees. It's so nice to hear from others who do too! Sending love to you, and to all people, animals, plants, crystals, elementals, angels, magical creatures, to all light beings, to the earth, the sun, the moon, to the stars, to the planets, and to all of organic love-light creation. 🙏💚🌲🌳🌴
Dear Lorna, How beautiful us your walk ❤ I intend to visit you at the sanctuary in 2024. I love Ireland & my ancestors are Irish from Newfoundland Joyful blessings for 2024 ❤ from Canada
I moved from a house with mature trees in garden to a top floor flat, I miss my trees , but I live near 2 wooded parks. So can still connect with nature. But I do miss my garden trees. 😊
Dear Lorna, some years ago, I met your mother and was in her company on a flight from Dublin to Carcassonne, she was going to visit you. She spoke about you and your relationship with nature, It was a most pleasent journey. And I will say a prayer for her God Bless !
Dear Lorna ❤ I'm so glad you have talked about the trees and they hear us. I talk to them all the time. Saying how much i love their beauty, strength, and power! I thank them because how barren & empty our world would be without them! Big blessings to you & many thanks 😎💥🦁🧚♀️😇🌈🔥💥💥
I am obsessed with growing and plant all sorts of trees 🌴 can't help it. Every fall I do colect seeds in bucets and plant some in pots and scatter seeds around everywhere I can. I have planted over 20 already and will continue so until winter comes.
I have sang with the birds one day it was so empowering and lovely ❤❤❤be well Mother Earth…..all we have and all we are comes from her, so giving back a prayer for her is so important and easy….. creator loves all our relations
This past winter I was driving and thinking about someone who had just died tragically, and I suddenly felt at one with the entire universe and saw the trees as shining, shimmering fractals reaching up in joyful celebration towards the sun. After that, I started using my driving time as an opportunity to enjoy the trees. After awhile, I began thanking them, and soon I could feel them zoom me over a burst of energy after I expressed my gratitude. Feels like magic and love. Gaia is alive and strong and conscious and blesses us when we are aligned with the beating of her heart. The way I sync our heartbeat with the earth’s is I imagine roots stretching out from me and going deep into the ground and then I notice my breath coming in and out. I can feel when my breath clicks with her’s. It is so comforting and strong. Being connected to Gaia means first coming to terms with the careless devastation we’ve inflicted on her. It’s profoundly sad, but Gaia then gives you her strength in return. Just felt inspired to share that! ❤😊
Thank you so much for this beautiful walk and your perspective. I am a city girl, not having spent much time in nature. I see now what I’ve been missing, and I thank you for letting me experience this through your eyes. Magnificent! ❤
“the Nature is talking back to us, because it knows we’re talking about it! We take everything from the Nature, but we need to give it back. We need to protect Nature.” Lorna’s connection and understanding of Nature is very deep, beautiful and precious 💜
I live in the neighborhood Where houses are close but we all have fences and yards. I'm the only one that has lots of trees. I've asked the trees to completely cover the yard so I can't see the neighbor's windows and they can't see in my yard and that's exactly what they did! I love my trees and they love me! I always talked to the trees and plants.
I had an experience where the plants, rocks and trees - specifically a big tree I was leaning against were emanating so much gratitude and love. She's right.
I have walked through the woods and meadows with my dogs every day I live for those woods. I do energy work, my favourite tree started to die, and now it is healthy and full of leaves. I understand the energy and connection of nature. We could never live without it❤
Thank you so much Lorna for taking the time to make and walk us around the special walk through nature. I felt so uplifted after watching your wonderful video and loved seeing the trout in the glistening water and hearing the birds so happy in their beautiful woods. Trees are awesome and I try to thank them for the shade they provide on a hot day. 💚🌿🐾🐦🧚♂💚
Wonderful message Lorna! ❤ I used to solo backpack in the Sierra Navada mountains in California and it was during that time that I truly start noticing and appreciating Nature. At the end of the first multiday trip I ended up at the trashed rivier bank that was used by campers. After days spent in pristine backcountry, drinking water from the creeks and soaking up the beauty of the terrain, when I got to that camper’s hang out, i just could not stand seeing all the trash there. I felt like ppl were disrespecting my (our) best friend, who have so selflessly provided for me (us), and have filled my soul with beauty and happiness. I cleaned up the beach feeling that’s still not enough to give back. Ppl would care more if they personally connect with the Nature that provides for their daily needs.
Thank you🙏 your story really resonated with me and touched my heart. I appreciate nature so much too. I always take my dog walking now with a trash bag it’s just to hard to pass the trash. I will do my part ..I just wanted to thank you for helping. 🥰
I connect daily and tell them I love them daily and thank them all the time. I know what being ignored and unappreciated and mistreated Feels like and since childhood I have felt strongly for the plants and animals. Thank you nature spirits and animal spirits.
Thank you for this, Lorna (and team). Recently I have been trying to help friends understand the importance and connection between being out in nature and our overall health and wellness. I believe there is great power in connecting with the trees, flowers and plants. Thank you for this reminder and opportunity to spread the word and impact so hopefully we can work together to appreciate it more than ever. 🌳🌱🌿🌻❤🙏
Everything that God does in nature is stunning...breath taking. I love taking walks and connecting to God and thanking Him for everything He gives to us. The little humming birds, the various melodies from other birds is awesome.
I'm doing this on my property and I'm shocked that it makes my neighbors angry. They claim to love nature, yet they rip her skin off and leave her with no protection. They chop, poison, and burn her and then say, "Look how pretty my yard is, look how big my tomatoes are, rake up your leaves, pine needles, twigs and cones. They're making a mess & I don't like seeing them in your yard." What they don't realize is the trees are healthier, more full. The ground is more fertile. The insects and birds and other animals have more food and shelter. And it's just way more beautiful 😊.
Thank you Lorna. I admit I'm 100% guilty, but I'll endeavour to change my habits and get out of my bubble. I can't wait to spend a weekend at the Sanctuary.
Thank you Lorna for this beautiful reminder to appreciate the gift of nature and return to our innocent playful nature. Walking thru the forrest with you this morning was such a pleasure. Im even looking at my own garden in a new light. Grateful and feeling blessed. Blessings to you. 🥰😇
Trees complete the circuit of nature. Without them there is no rain, no aquifers and you can forget about maintaining cooler temperatures. Not sure if anyone has noticed, but the suns rays can be brutal when there is no canopy to protect us. Thank you Mama Gaia for everything you've given us.
This video captures the beauty of nature perfectly! The peaceful scenery and vibrant wildlife are a reminder of how incredible our planet is. Watching this makes me want to spend more time outdoors and appreciate the simple wonders of the natural world. Thanks for sharing such a calming and inspiring video! 🌿🌞❤
Love this episode. Tears in my eyes and so much love that arise in my heart. It reminds me of a women that comunicates with animals, with the life on earth. Please, listen to Emelie Cajsdotter, in sweden. Ska has created a sancuary ( like yours) for horses an other animals and they teaches us about how we can coexist with oneanother. I've been connected to nature since a wee tot. I remember being 3 and the only comfort and solace and connection I felt was when I would find a spot of my own with the trees, grass, dirt, flowers. I'd hide away and just sit within it and upon it. Now I'm 65 and it's still my greatest comfort and joy. I have 7 acres and I continue to plant trees regularly upon it. I'm always told how beautiful. They are my family. It's like a wildlife sanctuary as well.
I have a bit of land with a simple home in very rural Appalachia in the US. The same mountain chain that disappears off Maine and wiggles under water to pop back up in Scotland. A mountain chain older than trees. Older than bones. I am doing my best to give back here in Appalachia. However, your words have inspired me to try even harder. I am planting native bald cypress along the creek. Paw paws too. Service berry trees in open spots. I built a stone wall, full of tiny hiding places, behind the house as a home for lizards, snakes and invertebrates. All rapidly moved in. I am creating a 1/2 acre pollinator meadow out front with native species. The red honeysuckle vine brings hummingbirds in all summer. Bat boxes and bird houses are planned but I have to save for those. Perhaps next year a wildlife water feature refilled by the roof downspout outflow. Most every night I sit outside for a bit, looking at the stars and the trees silhouetted against the sky. I thank the forest for its presence. You might be surprised who pops up to converse. You just have to chose to listen. Be well.
I think the river bird you were describing was the dipper! Beautiful forest and beautiful video thankyou Lorna I just finished your first book I loved it xx
The bird sounds like a Little Dipper Lorna. We have them on our river. Nature is my sanctuary I’m so very lucky to live in the countryside & thank God every day for it’s beauty and magnificence 💝
Bylo tak příjemné jít s Lornou na procházku. Jsem potěšena, že v Irslu rostou stejné rostliny jako v Čechách. Také ráda pečuji o úsek země, který mi byl svěřen
Take those boots off Lorna and tell everyone about earthing/grounding at the same time! I combine what you are talking about with glorious bare feet on the earth. Total reset and appreciation right there. Much love xx
Love Trees Lorna thank you! I really like to Hug the gigantic old ones. I used to think everything had feelings when I was wee and so I would dig up the rocks and wash them and put them into beds so they wouldn’t get cold in the winter. I love to hug the big older trees but I ask permission first now. I was so lucky to have a tree house when I was wee inside a gigantic linden tree. I would lay in my back swaying on the platform with the wind and seeing light flicker through the leaves!
❤ Thank you for bringing us with you on your walk in the forest and helping us to see and feel it through your eyes. I try to do my bit on our patch of land by planting native trees. We recently created a natural pond, and already, it's filling with wildlife. Blessings to you 🙏 and I pray you get to protect the forest. ❤🌹
Thankyou so much for sharing. Your video is VALUABLE. More and more awareness should be done to preserve NATURE as much as possible. The trees 🌳 and forest are so important....Trees stabilize temperatures and always keep the place cool and many more...preserve and look after mother NATURE......
I ALWAYS ADMIRE MY TREES AND TELL THEM HOW BEAUTIFUL THEY ARE A D TOUCH THEIR LITTLE FINGERS AND THANK THEM....ALSO THE OCEAN IS LIFEGIVER FOR ME.....SHE IS A HEALER....🙂🥰
Lorna In Gratitude for this Wisdom Sharing, about Caring and Loving our Earth 🌍 and for Sharing your Love, Delight, and Respect for All of Nature on this Beautiful Walk at the Sanctuary . One can feel the Love, Beauty, and “Magic “ from your Love as you walk along. 🙏🎁🦋🌸🌱🐿️🌳🐁🌈🌍
Thank you! Lorna for making this video you have taken me back to childhood days when I used to run and play in the woods, and wet my feet in running waters at the park. ❤
I love this one because she made it during the time I have been reading her books. We are learning from her, to extend our love to our living plants who share this world for us and with us.
True. We should do our best to live in connection with nature. We are part of nature. Part of Good Lord . Without nature we die. We will not manage without it. All beautiful colours are smiles of nature. Blessings ! 💙💚❤
I can’t imagine not desiring to spend time in nature. Stress just melts away quickly when in nature. I’m lucky to live very close to a beautiful old state park. It’s a sad thing if people aren’t connected to nature.
Thank you Lorna, there is a stand of old trees opposite us who have managed to remain despite being in a suburban area, They have kept me sane, especially through lockdown. Many of us do appreciate the things around us but we are unsure of how to connect with other people who feel the same way.
I love that you pray and ask God to bless the plants/trees and allow them to grow. I have prayed over all that I plant and ask that same thing for them.

The bird sounds like a Little Dipper Lorna. We have them on our river. Nature is my sanctuary I’m so very lucky to live in the countryside & thank God every day for it’s beauty and magnificence 💝
Beech trees have always been extra special to me. We have a deep connection.
Thank you, Lorna. We are connected to nature here, in Iowa, USA if we take the time.

Thank you from here in Standish, Maine, USA. 🌿💚🌿
Bylo tak příjemné jít s Lornou na procházku. Jsem potěšena, že v Irslu rostou stejné rostliny jako v Čechách. Také ráda pečuji o úsek země, který mi byl svěřen
they are so beautiful and together, the colors, wow!
Please treasure and care for all of nature- specially the part of nature nearest to you- we can make a difference each and every one of us🌻🦋🐕🌈♥️🕊
Thank you for the beautiful journey in the forest, praying for us to help keep nature alive 🙏💖🙏
I’ve loved and talked to trees since I was a child, so happy I never lost that 😊❤
Take those boots off Lorna and tell everyone about earthing/grounding at the same time! I combine what you are talking about with glorious bare feet on the earth. Total reset and appreciation right there. Much love xx

Trees
Lorna thank you! I really like to
Hug the gigantic old ones.
Linden tea is so good for you
We need to live. I want to live, nature gives us energy.
So beautiful. Thank you for the lovely walk and the education.
Thank you for sharing. With many areas in drought it’s hopeful refreshing to see beautiful greenery is still out there.
Hi Lorna, I soooo love plants n trees too, I take photos of them all year round. They’re so empowering beautiful. ❤
Luv the nature canopies provided by Canopy are truly stunning. Their beauty is undeniable.
Thankyou so much for sharing. Your video is VALUABLE. More and more awareness should be done to preserve NATURE as much as possible. The trees 🌳 and forest are so important....Trees stabilize temperatures and always keep the place cool and many more...preserve and look after mother NATURE......
The trees also shade us, from the hot sun, man has cut down so much trees, an then they wonder about climate changes...Love n Hugs Barbie
All of creation is listening, hearing, and watching us.
Grazie per questo video. La Natura è meravigliosa ❤
I ALWAYS ADMIRE MY TREES AND TELL THEM HOW BEAUTIFUL THEY ARE A D TOUCH THEIR LITTLE FINGERS AND THANK THEM....ALSO THE OCEAN IS LIFEGIVER FOR ME.....SHE IS A HEALER....🙂🥰
Knowing that our planet will do fine without us is reassuring.

Thank you! Lorna for making this video you have taken me back to childhood days when I used to run and play in the woods, and wet my feet in running waters at the park. ❤
Ferns are my favorite flowers I love them even weeds are very very beautiful ❤❤❤❤
👍오늘도 감사합니다💘
❤❤❤❤
I love this one because she made it during the time I have been reading her books. We are learning from her, to extend our love to our living plants who share this world for us and with us.
I have a little mouse in the garden and will start plant berries❤
Det borde vara självklart i skolan och samhället att lära sig respekt för naturen och hur fridfullt det är för våra sinnen 🌷🌱🌾🌳🌲🪴🌻🤸🙏🦋
That is precious❤ the animals have such a special knowing
True. We should do our best to live in connection with nature. We are part of nature. Part of Good Lord . Without nature we die. We will not manage without it. All beautiful colours are smiles of nature. Blessings ! 💙💚❤
Wonderful video ! Beautiful sanctuary.
I can’t imagine not desiring to spend time in nature. Stress just melts away quickly when in nature. I’m lucky to live very close to a beautiful old state park. It’s a sad thing if people aren’t connected to nature.
You are so lovely. 💚
Thank you Lorna, there is a stand of old trees opposite us who have managed to remain despite being in a suburban area, They have kept me sane, especially through lockdown. Many of us do appreciate the things around us but we are unsure of how to connect with other people who feel the same way.
I just utterly adore trees
I love plants more than animals. We could not exist without them.
I have a tree in front of our home. I hug, i e cried with, i love. He or she has helped me through so much. ❤
LORD JESUS PLEASE LIFT UP AND BLESS LORNA-AND STRENGTHEN HER AND KEEP HER SAFE---THANK YOU GUARDIAN ANGELS!❤😊
I love that you pray and ask God to bless the plants/trees and allow them to grow. I have prayed over all that I plant and ask that same thing for them.
Thank you Lorna for sharing. You are such a beautiful person!
You are Life Itself,
Yes get the baby birch into the Light 🧡
I have three tree friends they send loving energy to me and I talk to them and feed the birds by them.
Thank you Lorna I love nature too ❤️🙏🌹🍀🇨🇦
