Fantastic Video! I am new to tradingview and still trying to figure out how to get their volume profile to align right with the price line. Tradingview looks like it has come a long way. I will check out more of your tradingview videos.
Actually u can split/merge profiles because you choose in settings how many days market profile u want to see. So you try fit the profile with right number of days and your profile is merged.
That is one way to merge but then it would do it for every X periods on the whole chart. Usually you want to manually merge certain balanced areas in specific each with different number of periods. And with the split I mean breaking it down into 30 minute individual periods so you can look at how it developed. It's basically the same as looking at a 30min candlestick chart in a way, but it's nice to see the split/regular TPO side by side as you can do In Sierra and other platforms.
They’ve made some changes. You can now split profiles, and merge with previous as well. What’re you thoughts on this change and has there been any other changes with Single Prints and Weak Hi and Lo’s?
I made an updated video on those changes recently. But still work to do. The profile splitting is tricky to use I feel and you can split everything which for me is not that useful. I like to just have the current session profile side by side in split and regular view. Singles and Poor highs and lows seem to be working well. I think just more customized controls for splitting and merging would be good. Also their auto adjust tick size is bad. I always manually set the row size for a specific market to get the best resolution.
I don't trade US30 myself but I checked and the price scale is similar to the SP500 so about 4-5 per row was a good definition on the 30m chart. the bigger the price scale (like NQ or BTC) the more rows needed.
I don't often comment on videos, but have to point out how well spoken and easy to watch this was. Well done.
Appreciate that Randy.
Highly appreciate your unwavering efforts to always keep us updated on Profile trading.Great content, clearly explained.

you can see the letters once you zoom in alot. The blocks will change to letters at a certain zoom point
Yes, I posted a pinned comment clarifying that letters work as long as you are zoomed in.
Ok thanks. Enjoyed the video. 👍🏾
❤ Great explanation of how it works
Will this work for equities stocks ?

understand true@@PriceActionVolumeTrader
@@PriceActionVolumeTraderhopefully down the road they will implement split and merge. I imagine it is a difficult task to get right in the software
Yeah I am sure lots of programming required. But yes, split/merge and single/poor high and lows will be great to add
Sir,
How it can preidentified that single print is tail/excess for reversal or trend will continue

Do you have a good suggestion for a footprint in TV?
No, I have not seen any real indicators for it on TV so far.
Hello sir , what will be the ticks per row value for crypto futures market?
You need to play around with the market you trade. I showed Bitcoin in the video and I think around 750 or so looked good.
Thanks for sharing mate
Useful and great thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the information...😊
Welcome 😊
Thanks for the awesome video.
For US30 how many ticks per Row ?

Unfortunately, now that it's out, you're almost going to have to leave the number of ticks on Auto as it will often error out if you don't.
Yeah. There is a lot of changes now in the official release compared to the Beta version I reviewed here.
Great video, job well done.
Is this accurate compared to sierra tpo?
Yes. I show them side by side.
Wow really! That is shocking seeing how inaccurate Volume Profile is with TradingView. Thank you
Is it possible to see the script ?
No
YOU can split and merge profile ?
That functionality is still not available but I assume in future updates you will be able to. When it comes out I’ll make a new video about it.
