Malibu Hindu Temple, a temple of the God Venkateswara, this was built in 1981, is located in the city of Calabasas near Malibu, California in the Santa Monica Mountains.
This is considered to be one of the largest temples on the west coast.
This is such a clean and calm space and pooja prayers and ambiance make you feel you are in India. I am fascinated by architecture
The temple has two complexes. The lower complex is for presiding deity Lord Shiva, while the upper complex is for the presiding deity Lord Venkateswara.
Plan your visit this temple is only open on Sat and sun 10-5pm, after covid19 this temple is closed during the weekday, so check before you plan.
Food-They have a separate canteen service behind the temple and food is reasonable and delicious. When we went it was a long line so we had to wait in the line for 1hr, so plan accordingly.
