I am SOOOOOOO jealous! I sidestepped the entry and the double landings (both intermediate and bottom) the run before I jacked myself up. Glad you made use of two of them !!!!
Driving up to toss for the first time was intimidating. I was only 12 and it was snowing a bit, so the only thing I could see was a chair going straight up a doubleblack into the clouds.
That would have been Al's Run under chair 1. Al's is intimidating the first time you see it but I don't think it is a double black. It's long and mogully but there is plenty of terrain at Taos that is far more challenging than Al's.
No comparison. This is steeper, much narrower and just plain gnarly. The entry is hairy! High Rustler is about 35º in pitch, This is right at 50º. The entry is probably even more.
If all counts, good for you. Having fun and not dying is the goal. I’ve torn an ACL, now it one it down a bit and to watch this stuff while others do it. 💪👍😎
Sick line and you nailed it. I've skied the adjacent runs but never thought of going straight down spine like that.

Nice job on the vid! Great skiing as well. You nailed that one. It is one hairy entry into that one. Been there done that.
I've only been to Taos twice but legit, that place is my life.
That was a good season. Last few seasons have come up short on snow amount. Great job. You picked a pretty tough line.
Nice run.. those runs are tough with so many hidden rocks just underneath the snow.
Grew up skiing Colorado but Taos rules all. If you want to up your game... go to Taos.
That looks like a dream line! I wanna visit this year!
BirdBoarder7 do it. Best area ever.

Aquatic Llamas
Al’s is a black not a double black.
That was fun to watch. I do not ski how ever and that looks scary.
wow...sick skiing. great job.
1:50 Nicely Choreographed!
Taos is soooo gnarly!
Love this ski area perfect thanks
what song?!?!?! this is the kind of music I want to listen to while skiing glades!
A video of bamboo!!!!! finally
at 0:40 the left side looks safer for some reason. Sooooooo glad i live in taos
YEEEAAAAAAAH BUUUDDDDDDDDDY!
Kudos for the Butterfly turn
digging the song
Glad to see you took your time with that. Proper surgery on a dangerous line!
That is a ballsy line!!
Nice! Do you have a recommended skii spot for intermediates?
xXAdder StarXx yes. Go to the top of Chair 2 and drop down a green called Honeysuckle. Keep heading until you get to chair 4. Have fun!
MGK- NoobOTron Thanks!
Also powderhorn is a lot of fun
really tough line nicely done.
Great vid
Nice work!
Reminds me of High Rustler at Alta for some reason, though no real resemblance... I should say High Traverse/Eagles Nest... good stuff!

What shoot is that
nice dude RESPECT
What's the song?
the hardest ive done at taos is a black

That is my uncle
Wow. Not a lot of competition for that fresh. Some exposed shit
Could have been a legend with a few senders on the way down
unfortunately taos chairlifts are very slow and without leg rest so I cant recover from the killer mogul runs.
Great snow, but you'd better go back to blues or single blacks.
he was meant for it
its really quite a shame they allow snowboarders now
I agree
I've skied Taos for 30 years. That was pretty lame.
You must be an outrageous skier because that looked like a tough line. Lots of exposure and hidden rocks, I'd say.
