      Probably not, but there is definitely less room for error at this weight class than there is in the lower weight classes, and Ngannou is an extremely hard punching and BIG heavyweight. Ngannou does also definitely have a good chin, and isn't going to go down easy.

    Fury was a lot younger, lean and muscular and faster on his feet! He's heading to the end of his career, still a big mouth but it looks like his days are limiting now! He has a filthy mouth and bangs his gums endlessly prior to the fights, using up a lot of valuable energy! The days of mouthy boxers is fading, and today's specimens save their energy for the ring, and are gentlemen.

      @carlito3859 …Tyson has been knocked down and gotten up, yup! But the more you get knocked down, the easy it is to get knocked down again. Usyk is the smaller man, but wins on the cardio, hands down. If Usyk gets in good work to Tysons body for 3 rounds, without getting caught flush himself….Usyk wins. Seems like a monumental task against a huge opponent with an awkward punching style in Tyson! Fury’s mouth flaps excessively…I’d like to see Usyk win, just to humble Tyson a wee bit. Haha, it’ll be a good fight to watch…if Fury doesn’t have “an injury during training”, and ducks again.

    Usyk is same height as Cunningham, but 2 inch reach disadvantage, turning into an 5 inch reach disadvantage against Fury.
    And Cunningham also wasn't know for his knockout power, but still sat Tyson down.
    Usyk is not little and a lot more nimble than Cunningham, so is still some possibility of a wonderful fight there.
    If you take Cunningham as a role model for the Usyk-Fury fight then there is a lot to look forward to there.

    Fury is a Manchester man and made insulting reference to a Liverpool fighter, it’s tradition😂 Just so folks around the world know, Manchester and Liverpool are only 60km from each other in the North West of England and they have a traditional rivalry, envy and often a genuine hatred of each other that runs much deeper than their respective sport or famous football teams. It’s about socioeconomic status, social/antisocial habits, accent etc… since the days of the Industrial Revolution 200 years ago. You’ll often get reference to that when competitors show up in any field (sport, and music especially) from those cities. If one set of fans show off and make noise about their city, and don’t behave themselves things can turn ugly and violent. If they’re foolish enough to criticise rivals on their own turf, then God help them! It’s a very real rivalry that will probably never die.

    Fury shows how he has difficult with shorter fighter, unlike people tend to believe. not always a bigger and stronger fighter is the more difficult fighter to have in front. we'll se, but I think that Usyk will make this very tough for Fury, and he knows, despite his statement about his little size.

      @@CP-wh1md I won't deny what he does with Usyk, but the rematch with Klitschko was cancelled because Fury tested positive for drugs and retired out of chronic depression after being stripped off his belts. The AJ fight was supposed to happen if it wasn't for Wilder winning his court case, forcing Fury to fight Wilder for the third time, then AJ loses the belt to Usyk and the rest is history. As far as I know, Usyk vs Fury is going to happen one way or another, may he best man come out on top

    • @CP-wh1md
      @CP-wh1md 7 місяців тому

      @@easy_eight2810 I suppose you can choose to see it as you wish. I see it as he ran from the rematch. Everything that happened was a choice he made. I’m sure he was depressed at the thought of having to face a reinvigorated Klitschko. He has had multiple opportunities before and after Wilder to take on AJ and Usyk. If you will recall, he did everything he could to keep from fighting Usyk, including completely including intentionally himself out of it. Usyk won’t happen. He will retire again.

    Fury is tough, he's got up from the canvas a few times, but I won't miss the Gypsy Stink when it dries up. The sometimes entertaining mouth has never matched his in ring performances. His Klitschko bout had the lowest punch output of any heavyweight title match that ended in a decision. If he got in the cage (like he said he would) w/ Ngannou, it's a good bet that the Humpty Dumpty show would be cancelled.

    Steve Cunningham could really hang with any heavyweight if it wasnt a short notice fight. Yeaes ago I trained in some Philly gyms and there were quite a few journeymen who worked it like a job. Always on call for late notice fill ins always in pretty good shape training year round and non plussed by any big money or opponent opportunity. Too many good fighters in Philly for him or those like him to be phased. Cunningham was always ready always in shape and just plain good. A modern day Jimmy Young.
