Most of the people who harp on boy bands don't realize their songs were written by some of the same people who wrote/ghost wrote metal songs in the '80s.
Would not have even HIT the "charts" in the 1980s, because Heavy Metal was forbidden in a lot of areas (like it still is today) and would have never gotten respect or air play anywhere either (again like today)!! Only one low powered radio station in my area plays heavy metal music and I have to drive nearly 15 miles to even pick them up on a radio in my truck, to give you any idea of how crappy radio stations are these days!! Most stations around here only play crappy Rap Music or weak a$$ Top 40 garbage, music that is basically "talentless" to produce and create!!
They could do a full album a covers like this with obscure tunes and call it "Metal Conversion". or "Hairspray Alchemy". or "Patherized!". or "Panther Plating". I'd buy that.
Takes me back to the big hair bands of the 80's, they do great renditions of Gun's and Roses, Iron Maiden, Journey, ect. Awesome freaking Band! The lead singer nails is everytime.
I think the sound of a baby seal dying would be better than the original. Its not a hard song to top, but i agree they fucking blew it out of the water and totally made it their own.
