- Most of us like to spend money on fancy machines and not on dust extraction. But what types of dust extraction do you actually need for your workshop?
Peter Sefton's take us on a tour of the different set-ups in the machine room at his furniture school.
The video is from his new wood working machines series on DVD and Download. - Навчання та стиль
Wow, I didn't expect to see that much improvement from a bag shake, I am gonna shake my bag more often!! Thanks for sharing.
A really excellent video. Concise and incredibly well explained. Thank you.
5:00 good point highlighted, something I hadn't considered but need to! thank you.
Nice video, and you are so right. It is hard to spend money on dust extraction. A fistful of money, dust extraction or another machine. As you get older you realise the problems of dust. Now going through the process of dust extraction in my small workshop, and your video was a great help, Thank you.Regards,Mark.
Great video, clear explanation, thanks for taking the time.
Very informative presentation, many thanks.
How is the felder dust collector managing the drum sander? Is it releasing fine dust trough the filter bags in the air?
Interesting archive about cartridge filters. I always assumed fine filtration was better
Good video.
Thanks for this very helpful video. I'm in the process of setting up a Men's Shed, and this is just what I need. Could you possibly give the model numbers of the Felder and Jet machines? And would they be suitable for a workshop in use twice a week for 4 hours a day? That would be really helpful. Thanks, Andrew
Sir a doubt. Are dust extraction system and LEV the same thing
I can
Im from india passiontly carpenter
Some good points but some totally incorrect statements
Felder has done some remarkable dust pick up with very low air flow. I have never torn one down to see how they accomplish this. The vac gauge shows only 900 PA . That is only about 3.6" water lift @ 350 CFM in a 4" duct. Very similar to a Harbor Freight DC that sells for $200 US. You use a bag house type filter and with no cyclone so I don't know how the impeller is protected. This is all black magic to me.
