    I am thrilled to have found this recipe. I have fond memories of visiting my uncle’s bakery in Lincoln, England, where he made these. He used to cover the sides with cream and roll them in toasted nibbed almonds. I think he used butter cream rather than fresh but they were delicious as I am sure these are. They are impossible to find here in the UK (but I would appreciate being contradicted and pointed at a bakers that makes them). I am visiting Cochin later this year, can you tell me where to find these cakes while I am there?

    Thank you for the cake recipe which i was searching for a long time . Please give the measurement of the RINGS and the BAKING TRAY size which is also important in baking . I will definitely make this and give comment asap - many thanks again

    • @HoneyImHome
      @HoneyImHome  Рік тому

      Hey Anitha. I apologize for the delay in reply. The size of the ring is 8 cm, the size of the tray doesn't matter, use a tray that fits your oven.
      Also, please tweak the recipe a bit. please add 50 grams almond flour and 40 grams raw cashew powder instead of 90 grams of just almond flour.

    The oven and Ann's bakery actually did not Cochin Bakery

      I have a feeling Cochin bakery is much older than The Oven or Anns.
