Incompetent and irresponsible management Riot aside, Pacific's first game was insane. As with the Sayaplayer vs YAY showdown, all 10 players had some great moments. There were a number of threatening plays, including clutch plays from sScary, excellent IGLing from Carpe and crazyguy, and IZU's very solid and high IQ. There is no doubt that this year's Pacific League will also be a very crowded field.
map 1 was less about sayaplayer vs yay and more about izu vs sscary ngl
I think its not just carpe give call for T1 but xccurate give excellent call too many times
Also, crazyguy’s calling on attack is a bit too simple which cause them a lot of round on attack
Valorant is a flawed game. League never has this much tech pause even tho it’s run by the same Riot management

Regardless of the result, I would like to express my utmost respect to the 10 players who fought until the end despite being very tired from the long tech pause.
I'm happy to see Izu shining in T1. Pacific league first ace, Great IQ and utility. I've been rooting for him since last year's Jadeite, and I'm happy to finally see him take off on the world stage.

Honestly, both teams played incredibly well for the first and APAC just delivers all the time (barring the technical difficulties). Seeing Neon was refreshing, and honestly with a little polishing (and Yay honestly not getting too aggro too much) it has so much potential.
The new T1 is actually solid and prepared. Not only is he strong in AIM, but he also seems to have a variety of beautiful methods such as utility and set plays. Sayaplayer is definitely stronger than last year, and iZu is not only very smart with his assists, but also has a great sense of competition in important scenes.At this point, T1 really has the ability to be in the top 3 of this year's Pacific.
They were 3rd last year too btw

their new roster is a big success, carpe with his good IGL-ing, calm and steady aim, izu with his explosive aim, SayaPlayer which on par with prime yay, Xcc with his experience, consistency, and flexible role. and rossy with his utility usage, spray control and line up. this team might be strong enough for 2nd place

I thought his neon was good, maybe average, but i think he'll shine a lot as yoru or even omen. when he gets out as the situation demands it, it'll be a scary yay.

I was so confused on why they put Yay on Neon of all agents. We have seen on Neon's prime how there's so many pro Raze/Jett players that just cannot adjust to playing Neon. It would have made more sense to let him play Jett for Breeze instead.
Also why was he Skye on Lotus? I could understand why you might not want to put Yay on Chamber for Breeze but no Chamber on Lotus? Really?
Lotus is like one of Chamber's best map on this pool and you don't put the guy best known to being the best Chamber on him in this map?
Chamber is still nearly unplayable at the pro level. T1 took a gamble playing chamber.

I went to sleep for 6 or 7 hours and it was still on the first map when I woke up
I went to bed at 11:30, woke up at 6, pulled up the match at 6:30 AM and right when I pulled it out, T1 managed to win Lotus.

Tech pause is normal, there must be something stupid happened that made it take too long, way longer than buying and building new 10 PCs and download valo on all of them, pls try to put pressure so they will change the organizer or the same gonna happen in champion

Despite T1 playing well, BLEED was unfairly treated due to a delay caused by Korean organizers.
It's important to consider that delays can have a psychological impact on both teams. However, it's worth noting that T1 has had more than a year to get accustomed to the Korean time zone (because 3 of them are Koreans already), whereas BLEED has only had a month to adjust to the normal Korean time zone. As a result, BLEED is at a significant disadvantage when compared to T1.
After the second delay in Overtime, 3 out of 5 BLEED players showed signs of exhaustion, causing their reaction time to slow down significantly compared to their performance in the official Breeze match series.
Or just in the Lotus, Xxcurate unexpectedly found an opportunity to get a frag at site C, even though his reaction time was quite slow. This was because Crazyguy - who is usually quick to react, was feeling exhausted and moving slowly. Sscary also didn't have the strength to make smart decisions. He jumped over Viper's smoke without any support, and his teammate had just died there!
Unfortunately, that's just how life works. Congratulations to T1 for winning the first game, and good luck to BLEED in their future matches!

Yeah, it's completely stupid. They should have just done the match another day instead of tiring out the players, I feel bad for Bleed and pretty much all the players. It would have been a much better series if they just delayed their match

Agreed! Bleed just stepped into the franchise and the organizer Korean gifted them with more than 6 hours delay??? So exhausted and tired for both teams. This is not just a match anymore, just a speedrun to end the game fast.

On Breeze that was really such a bad toss by Bleed... Yay was playing so freaking well then all the sudden just started completely NO brain pushing everything? It made very little sense. It is one thing to create space in an intelligent way but its a whole different thing to rage push and be the first death every time by running through viper walls with no gun out. I dunno from my perspective they just got way sloppy.

I want to have an opinion, but every game plan and feasible criticism will be washed away if you bear this long competitively.
A rare occurrence where I would rather learn something than playing video games. Longer than when I watched Thailand Challenger event months ago, which is around an hour tech pause.
So for that I won’t judge this match no matter what happens then. How can I go and blame players when there’s a glaring issue from an organizer. Only respect for the player for this situation outside the game.

Personally I think The old Bleed would have win with these comp.
They lack of an aggressive duelist like Juicy and flash player like nephh. Both yay and Deryeon have amazing aim but only on their best using Op. Egoist is very good on sentinels but can't play flash.
T1 chose better agents to leverage their players, and iZu is the mvp with crazy aim and insane versatility.
