I’m ngl nothing makes me happier than seeing these players live up to their potential besides Rosen obviously the 2018 class is having a masterclass this year
What does Herbert have to do anything with this? When has Burrow not played great? 😂😂 it’s an argument for MVP in 21 & 22. In 23” after the injury he was unstoppable.
@11:39 The TE actually tore his ACL here on this play, that's why it wasnt as much of a gain unfortunately. Erick All is a great athlete in space and sucks for the rookie who made a good role as a H-Back.
If the Bengals had a much better record, Joe Burrow would be in the MVP conversation and maybe even be the frontrunner alongside Lamar Jackson. His numbers this year so far are ridiculous.
@@jacobporter419 They might be trying to scapegoat Lou, the best coach on the team. If they fire him this offseason to try to shift blame away from everyone else with power (Taylor, Tobin, ownership), we need to boycott them.
That check down to the TE also resulted in the promising rookie season of the TE being cut short with a torn ACL. Obviously not anyone's fault but boy do I wish Joe had thrown it to Chase there
This video explains why Burrow was pissed at the end of the game and afterwards. He knew they should've scored 60 and had 7 TDs, but bad players like Yoshi, Hudson, Williams and Irwin let him down. Of course if it wasn't for RB1 and TE1 going down or if Higgins wasn't hurt all the time and Burton didn't sleep in all the time, those practice squad guys wouldn't have been on the field
Andrei had 2 significant mistakes ... same as Ja'Marr (dropped 3rd&5 so had to punt, dropped deep pass 3rd&2 so had to punt at 1st)... but lets have higher expectations for Andrei (1st year starting some games, 2nd yr in NFL with very limited targets) then Ja'Marr (6th year with Burrow & in same offense) who also didn't catch a deep pass that hit his hands and couldn't fight through in the endzone (very similar throw that Ja'Marr caught in 2022 AFCCG) Ja'Marr lead the league in drops his rookie year in the NFL (and his 3rd year with Burrow) but Burrow just kept feeding Ja'Marr the ball. So maybe give Andrei some time. Also, Andrei made a diving TD in this Raiders game so there's also that
@bengalsfandom623 Yoshi is good in scramble drills, especially in the Red zone. But brother he's been bad otherwise. Almost all his catches are just in scramble mode, he doesn't get open and he's a bad blocker. Chase and him shouldn't be compared bc Chase is special and Yoshi was a late round pick that's not playing well and was being fazed out until Burton missed walkthrough. Yoshi will keep getting chances bc Irwin is even worse and Higgins/Jones are always hurt
@@natej84 It's fine to call out Andrei but then why aren't you calling out Ja'Marr. The excuse of draft pick or potential mean nothing if you are making the same or worse errors as Andrei. A key drop on a short 3rd down pass beyond the sticks, a key 3rd down deep pass that hits your hands, and a contested TD in the endzone. All these passes Ja'Marr was 1on1 with Raiders defenders I have higher expectations of Ja'Marr as everyone should if you truly think he is a true #1. But instead many act like Ja'Marr is made of glass and can handle any objection criticism. If Hiding all his errors makes Ja'Marr perform better then hiding everyone's errors may do the same
When you say slightly underthrown, that is Burrow's habitual jump ball throw. I remember him doing it last year against the Bills when he should have had a TD if he had thrown it further. IDK why he does that.

Why does Ja'Marr Chase disappear when the offense needs him most? Especially in second half or end of games? Against the Raiders Ja'Marr dropped a short 3rd down pass beyond the sticks, he dropped a deep pass that hit his hands on 3rd down, and couldn't hold on to a pass in the endzone (very similar to a TD that Ja'Marr had in the 2022 AFCCG). All these passes, Ja'Marr was 1on1 with a defender. Ja'Marr jokes that he doesn't eat well and that he doesn't like 1pm games because he's not a not a morning person and that he barely makes it in on time in the morning for meetings/practice. After the Raiders game, he joked that he missed a meeting/practice his rookie year but still got to play against the Ravens (when asked about Burton) Maybe Ja'Marr is tired in the 2nd half of games due to his sleep schedule? Burrow and Ja'Marr aren't on the same page on or off the field. Burrow takes his sleep schedule & nutrition very seriously and Ja'Marr jokes that he doesn't need to do any of that ... yet Ja'Marr is not performing well enough to help the team win but Ja'Marr appears to think he is because he has some "good stats" and only gets praise by national media, Bengals media and NFL. Not only does no one point out his critical mistakes, they hide them or pretend they didn't happen. While harshly criticizing Andrei Iosivas for not being able to complete a deep pass (at least he fought for it against Jack Jones). Most Bengals media act like they have higher standards for Andrei than Ja'Marr
Thank you for featuring Joe Burrow in this breakdown. He is so smart and a thing of beauty to watch when he play....just makes me mad to know he is wasted on a team like the Bengals.
It's great to see Burrow and Herbert both playing great recently, that 2020 QB class was amazing.
facts fans need to stop trying to compare the 2 and just appreciate greatness

Came to make this comment. JT makes a good point about chase being open, but yeah he clearly didn't have all the context here.

Should've thrown the sail at 11:25 but if All didn't tear his ACL on the play he probably gets close to a 1st.
True, but in hindsight if Joe throws the sail to JaMarr the ball doesn't go to All and his ACL is still intact 😢
When Burrow is dialed in.. they're hard to beat. Means nothing if they can't beat the Ravens & go on a run

Can you breakdown Mahomes vs the Bucs
This was a typical Burrow game, he just happend to throw 5 TDs.
Why isn’t there a single Jarred Goff analysis this season?
