Love-love those happy bees! Like how you made each one different, just like us, we're all different in our own ways. Thank you soooo much for sharing all those tips. Have a blessed day 🌈💛🙏💛🌈
Your work is just stunning! I learned so much in this video, i really loved how calm you were with that darn bee!! Tension is not only thread for me and the whole reason i embroider is to experience the delight i feel when colors and textures merge and something cute emerges. You have so much experience and its so much beautiful eye candy all the textures!! Your calmness shows me its possible and your work inspires me and encourages me to keep going when ive got a wonkey mess in front of me! Thank you so much. Ive liked and subbed so you havent seen the last of me! Thank you again and i look forward to your next video.
These bees are so cool. I only use cotton thread to make my project. But I got some gimp and other kind of threads from a friend. I have no idea what can I do with them. Then I found your blog and UA-cam channel. You inspired me! Thank you so much Ariane. I can’t wait to try them with my threads.
Hi Ariadne. I’m Marilyn from Texas. I just found your UA-cam channel today and I’ve been binge watching all day. I love your work and your demonstrations make it so clear. I’ve been working on several projects and doing a lot of knots and bouillon stitches. I’ve been using my regular seamstress needles which haven’t worked very well. Which type and size needles would you suggest in order to have what I need for all the beautiful special stitches? 🥰💜
Hi Marilyn! I'm so glad you reached out to me. For wrapped stitches use a #3 Milliners for 8 weight threads and a #1 Milliners for 5wt threads. Use a #24 Chenille Needle for non-wrap stitches, and 8 wt threads and a #18 Chenille for 5 and 3 wt threads. I did a video about this: ua-cam.com/video/aN8vBMTkdZU/v-deo.html ❤️
How about a bouillon needle? They are longer and the shape is more conducive to sliding your stitches off the end at completion. Just thinking out loud here because I don’t know what needle your using
Ariane Zurcher - On the Other Hand well basically everything- from start to finish. How to prepare your fabrics, stitches you use,, background fabrics. I think the pattern alone would be a great seller..people lovepillows and you have some interesting original designs so go for it!!
@@joyceabbey1732 Thank you so much Joyce. I will definitely think about all of this and do something, though perhaps not Churchill, as it really was taken from Sue's Peacock Quilt and is a little too much like hers to be truly "mine", but I will design something else and can tape the process start to finish. Maybe taping in segments... not sure. Will think this through. Thank you so much for the suggestion.
Hi Connie, make sure you are ending your thread by putting your needle down beside the bullion knot and not ending by going inside of the knot. Does that make sense?
Love your lessons. So glad we can find you on You Tube! Thanks

I’ve tried a variety of needles, the one I like best is Tulip’s #1, but people should use whatever works for them. ❤️
Saw your “Churchill pillow on Instagram and am wondering if you could do a pattern or tutorial on it. It is so spectacular!!
Thx so much Joyce. Tell me what sorts of things would you be interested in knowing if I did a tutorial. ❤️

My loops twist after I do the wraps and it won’t behave...any ideas?
