We sell vacant land that can be developed into a residential area. Surely our customers would love this video to get some ideas on how to start. Thanks for this video!
Great video . I have a chance to buy some land there . It seems to be a year or so , since you posted this video and I'm curious, how is the water supply there , with the drought . Any information is greatly appreciated. I live an hour north of Atlanta Georgia and want to get out of the city . Thank you .
I own two acres across the valley from these folks. There are hundreds of lots of all sizes. Many were sold off from large ranches and then auctioned (some multiple times) when the taxes weren't paid. No water or power, but they have cell phone reception now. Montello is the nearest town and can be rough.
We live in southern nv and just got property in Elko county. It’s how I found this channel (googling how to start) 😊 Do you have any advice if we wanted to convert one of those 2 story Home Depot sheds to a tiny home?? Would imagine we would need permits etc but I have no idea how to start. I just don’t want to get screwed over and my dreams crushed. We also have dreams of a root cellar, and well.
Are you able to drill for a well, septic and is there power available or strictly generator or solar power? Looks like a cool piece of property. Congrats. I am looking at some property in that area as well with access to BLM land.
Yes, domestic well granted for each parcel. We are hoping to be able to develop a spring on the property, otherwise we will be drilling. We will be going with solar for our needs. Happy hunting on finding your piece of the dream !
Hello there how you doing quick question are you living off grid in Nevada if so are you still there and are you doing more videos of off-grid in Nevada?
We live in a small town in Norther Utah full time. We have dreams of going off grid in the future. fortunate to have the opportunity to work towards it while living in town as well. New video coming today.
When you do something like this how do you make sure the place you are going to isn't going to be looking over your shoulder bothering you about what you can and can't do here? How do you know which places are going to 'not mind' if you put up a cabin, or at least have cheap building permits, and not block you?
It is actually quite comfortable. The tent is a 10x14 Kodiak Canvas and we use a Big Buddy heater with a 5 gallon Propane tank. I set up a carbon monoxide detector for piece of mind and we sleep very well.
I was there on the otherside of the mountains to your west in late November and it was freezing. Snowed one morning. Most nights were in the high 20s low 30s. How did you remove the shrubs? Tie them to your truck to pull them out?
Hello I’m from Utah too! I just bought some land around pilot peak and I was wondering if you guys know where I couldn’t get some water or fill up water totes?
@@ChanceBerryman We are only cutting trees for access, it will also provide a small fire break as well. Forestry management is very important as can be seen in the wildfires coming from the west coast.
I have done the same. Lol just recently purchased 10 acres of raw land out side of Montello NV. Can't wait to start working one it.
That is so awesome to build a life from raw land and to share the experience with your family ! It doesn't get any better .

It's a desert. The trees are in the hills/ mountains. I have 10 acres in northern Nevada and it has no trees.
Howdy Neighbor lol my property is close to Bald Eagle Mountain just 3.5 miles from the Utah border ;)
