the final few minutes really show how passionate Nico is with his career, its much more than just a business to him and seeing him being so genuine with tears in his eyes really show how honest this man is. I haven't yet got my first watch but I'm damn Shure I know where I'm heading to buy my first piece
Nico is a legend, doing what he loves and is passionate about, building a legacy. Had to fight for the position that he is in today and on top of all that he is a good man! Love Nico! 👑
This is legit the best interview video in history imo. Respect to you both for the journey's you've both been through and wish you both all the best in your future endeavours.
Nico single handedly elevated Casio to "God Tier". Quite literally puts them up on the same level as Rolex. Nico deserves all the recognition and success for influencing a whole new generation of watch collectors.
Now I know why Nico has 1m subs. I sub early on because of the entertainment value, so he has those viewers. But I am a very experienced watch collector of 30 years plus and he talks about the passion of rare pieces and not just the flex so he has my respect as a serious watch dealer. He has this audience too. I have met him at the London watch show and had a chat and he is very knowledgeable and come across as a passionate watch person. Total respect for this guy and he deserves what he has achieved. BTW. Great interview 👍
Excellent podcast - but you missed a huge opportunity to show the piece unique AP watch up close or clearly on camera. Something no one has ever seen on a wide platform This comment came early in the podcast. But blown away, real emotion from Nico and your questioning opened his own eyes to what he's achieved. Well done
I fkn love this dude and what he is doing. He Found something that he is genuinely passionate about and loves and is also being who he actually is while doing it. Really cares about his work and is also moving forward in his personal life and it was awesome to hear him speak about it all at the end. It's not often that you see a genuine authentic person doing well and showing that he has not let it change him or go to his head.
Great job landng Nico very interesting. Your interview skills are improving but I think you missed some chances at some good follow-up lines of questions...I wish you would have followed up with how he actually got into watch repairing originally. He says he was fixing watches on the side while working in sales but you never really followed up with more on that like how did he learn how to fix watches, what got him into that originally. Secondly, when you ask him about the money and lifestyle and he says the margins are low and he isn't driving a Ferrari off of selling watches (implying it's due to his YT fame or something) you never followed up with more questions about the breakdown and how much other things like UA-cam and collabs and sponsorships etc play into his business now... Cheers though for the interview, lots of interesting info about him.
Gang!!! Big up the Dutch people!!! I am one of em too, can relate to his story too. Bro your smashing it with your podcast. Keep ur head up, I kno there must be some challengers and things your going through but keep ur head up and do everything you can and enjoy ever second of it like my man said.
Nico is absolutely right about Rolex. My first luxury watch was Rolex. My first love in watches. There is nothing wrong with the product. But Rolex is like you first girlfriend.... you love it and learn to hate it!! He says the solution is like AP going boutique only, but I have been to AP and they too only sell to their preferred clients. No chance of getting one if you a new client. Even if ypu have purchased their watches previously at the ADs.
first time watching you CEOCAST - only clicked since i enjoy Nico and really enjoyed the podcast! Also went to school with other kids wearing rolex watches, did you by any chance go to private school, as did i?
Great to hear his life story, but somehow i am missing a key piece. He said in his videos that he is a proper watchmaker, when and where did he learn that? He left school at 16 and never learned anything after that ,according to his story here.
The interviewer needs to learn how to interview. Nico appears to be interviewing. Good discussion, but only because of the Nico, not the, interviewer. You completely ruined the piece unique AP, because even when you showed it on camera, it was blurred. In an interview like this; you should not have behaved like a child asking the prices. Ruined the interview. How do you get your hands on a watch like that, stupid question....
I love Nico, but chasing Rolex for $500 on a $30-$50k risk is insane. There's better profits buying from auctions on other brands. I know rolex is king of retail but the risk to reward outside very rare models is too high. He could make more profit on a Tudor for 300x less risk.
Love the podcast bro but that has to be the worst, most unbothered look at what is an almost mythical piece unique watch. Could you potentially upload a short of it in detail?
NICO THE LEGEND!! CAN WE GET 25,000 LIKES ON THIS EPISODE?!?!
Amatuer didn't even get a close up of the platinum
Still hasn't seen
get 1yelir on next on podcast
fuck no you cant lol
Can we loose 25 lbs on his belly for this vid??
The passion Nico has for watches is INSANE , Great podcast
Nico is an absolute LEGEND!!!!
From humble beginnings to his success…. Honest and pure.
Emotional ending. I got chills mate.

Bro you are absolutely killing it. Surprising me with every upload!
I've seen/listened to Nico on a few different podcasts, but this was by far the best.
Excellent podcast - but you missed a huge opportunity to show the piece unique AP watch up close or clearly on camera. Something no one has ever seen on a wide platform

Anyone know which Jewller he was talking about at 1.04:00 ?
Trotters Jewellers and Chrono750

I truly loved this, it was great to hear his story and I was really surprised to actually hear that Nico was raised in NL.
That was so obvious when you hear his accent
What a brilliant podcast and a brilliant insight into Nico”s life.
Enjoyed this - Nico your real side is legendary, big vibe.
Class episode and an even better ending!
2 bangers back to back
Truly awesome interview!

@@ziontrain2242 WTF you on about
Love Nico and this Podcast. Best one yet! Well done Raheem 💪🏼
God tier episode!
Great episode! 🎉
CEO Raheem what date did you make this interview? 👌👌👌
first time watching you CEOCAST - only clicked since i enjoy Nico and really enjoyed the podcast! Also went to school with other kids wearing rolex watches, did you by any chance go to private school, as did i?
12:36 What he says about Casio & Gshocks are so true... had many rich friends who had a G shock. Eminem is a huge example of this point
I don't know you but I'm going to take a stab at the dark and say Eminem isn't a personal friend of yours
class interview!
What a legend. Need to work with this dude
When he said not in a dirty way. It was needed because immediately I thought dirty 😂
I cant watch the rest of the episode after a handshake like that🤣
Them : Hey Nico, how are you?
Nico : You see what I mean?
Nico is a legend 👊🏼👊🏼
fantastic interview.
Sick episode !!
true passion. Love you nico & team
Great to hear his life story, but somehow i am missing a key piece.
He said in his videos that he is a proper watchmaker, when and where did he learn that?
He left school at 16 and never learned anything after that ,according to his story here.
Feel like you missed out by not grabbing those photos and the video and placing them on the vid whilst they were playing so we could see them mate.
Super interview.
Discovered you through tate bro I like your podcast bruv good convos

Love nico, right personality. Very entertaining
1:02:00 I was in the comment thread. It was A Jewellers.
g63 and 812 is such a good combo well done
Fantastic video
The whole 2 hour interview was completely overshadowed by the fact he completely ignored his Handshake at the beginning.
Great interview, Nico is genuine
Fantastic interview and story! Thank you both!

Fantastic podcast, Nico a legend.

I can’t lie Nico is one of the only watch traders i rate everything that comes out his mouth is 100% bullshit free
First Tate then Nico. Subscribed!
Handshake almost worked
Lmao. This watch that’s never been shown on camera and still nobody seen it on camera!! 😂
Love the podcast bro but that has to be the worst, most unbothered look at what is an almost mythical piece unique watch. Could you potentially upload a short of it in detail?
Come again?
That handshake was brutal....😅
1:06:45 tryd to slow it down to 0.25 to see it sounds like nico is drunk as fuck
Nico is going to be the watch king.
Tate then Nico! Back to back bangers! Hell yes!!
