What suspension is in the front and rear?
YFZR take offs on the front set up triple rate and the OEM shock set up dual rate in the rear with the Hess linkage. The shocks were set up by Rocket Ron 👍

I know you had HMF exhaust before. Which do you like better? The exhaust in this video (can't see, never heard of) or HMF? Why?
The HMF had a nice sound to it. I went with Rossier because I liked the styling and wanted a little bit louder exhaust. The shorter the muffler the louder they tend to get. HMF pipes are durable and a great value in my opinion 👍

I have a question what’s does it mean if your quad makes a raddle noise when in higher rpm but it doesn’t do it when it idles
I've had rattle/vibration come from my belly skid if it's not snug enough. Best to narrow down the area it's coming from and then investigate further.
@@PeteHager it was actually the plastic piece that blocks the mud down by your feet the bolt was loose making it seem like it was the engine

Is jumping a quad easy? I wanna get good enough to drive like you but fear of busting up my quad and my face
As with most things it’s best to start small and work your way big. It’s important to be in a good neutral/race ready riding position and to hold steady throttle off the jump. It’s also important to have a nice jump when your first starting out so something manmade vs a natural feature is normally best. Also, if the takeoff/lip is shorter than the length of your quad it can cause a forward buck if you don’t throttle with your body positioning back at the right time. A lot of that comes with seat time and experience. Jumping is fun so start small and you’ll be flying before you know it! 😬🤘
@PeteHager yeah, I got a TRX250X I wanna use as a training/testing quad, be a good quad for jumping and maneuvering cause of its small lightweight design

I think I would after getting a better feel for how it jumps. I still have never bottomed the suspension on that machine

As someone who started on a 2006 honda rincon 650 for my first ever 4wheeler, and atv at that since i was 14,now im turning 20 this year and still ride that same 4wheeler to this day, ive been wanting to get a raptor badly. I just dont know where to start. I never had a raptor so i have no clue if starting on a 700 is the move. Please inform me!
The Raptor is a super fun machine but if you haven't had a sport quad yet then starting with a 400 or 450 may be better route to go. The Raptor is known for being tippy in stock form whereas the newer YFZR handles on rails. You could always do a season on something like a 400ex to get used to riding a manual transmission before upgrading to something with more power
