Everyone thank you so much for the support, here’s part 2: ua-cam.com/video/0f6dyO9T8Ck/v-deo.html
I love NJ bus 🚌 good 👍 job I love it 💓
Have you been to ua-cam.com/video/EnnQJHaFudQ/v-deo.html
hey men, love your work. How do I contact you?
Didn’t know so many young people were into bus fanning but seeing these NJT beauties roll by did give most a sense of nostalgia so it all makes sense. This was great!!!
8:50 i guess the guy stopped because he was aware of the huge turning radius of those things. patience and forgiveness are too much to ask for these days.
Those flxibles still got that lean move going on xD
I feel bad about his shot but I'm def using "UPS ruined my childhood" at inconveniences now. That's gold lmao
Watching the clouds of diesel exhaust come out of these buses warms my heart!
Warms your heart and the earth
Imagine being pissed that the UPS driver chose to stop and give the bus room to pull out instead of crashing into the bus.
Exactly. Getting over emotional because the UPS driver stopped for like 3 seconds to make sure the bus had room to make the turn.
at 17:16, I will never forget the flexies!!! The first kind of NJ transit bus I ever rode on. They nearly dominated NJ transit's fleet at one time.
Ugh, when they said "that's my childhood"...that resonated with me so well ☺
@@diezel5267 I remember seeing them everywhere in Trenton as a kid growing up and a whole bunch of them would line State Street going through downtown. I didn't finally start riding the NJ transit bus until i was 15 years old and that's when they were beginning to phase the flexies out and replace them with the NABI's. I'm glad I got to experience a piece NJ transit history before it was too late.
We used to have a lot of the Flexibles in Miami in the 90s and early 00s. Those and RTS buses before the NABI buses came along.
Oh and the articulated buses too.
How old are you now bro
I absolutely LOVE Bus Roadeo so much. I’m glad to see this on UA-cam. I miss it so much. Where I live they no longer doing bus roadeo which is devastating to me. And now I see this video. It bring me a big smile! Go MCI!
How have I NEVER heard of this...OMFG! How cool!! Growing up all I did was ride the public bus until my Mom got her drivers license very late in life. There is no profession I respect more than the bus driver! While all of these buses have a special place in history and everyone's heart, none will ever come close to the prestige the Grumman 870/Flxible Metro has! That bus came in so many versions with so many different options and represented so many different cities!
For me, the NJTransit RTS stole the show. The RTS is my favorite model of all time and in my opinion, it still looks better than every other transit bus on the road today.
Love the fish bowls
Rts have that tilt turn feels like it's going to roll over..but cool
Flxibles are No.1! Especially the zoomy and beefy sounding Metro E's!!
Loved seeing that old school L.A. RTD bus at 17:45 doing the swerving. 😂
Body roll, do they drive from la all the way to nj?
I was suppose to go there but my aunties forced me into church celebrations all day. I'll go next year hopefully.
Damn that sucks
15:32 I remember seeing those buses all the time at Disney World. They held onto those for quite some time, up until the early 2010s before replacing them entirely with the boxier Gillig models.
4:35 this is the first time you`ll see a BMW M5 e60 being completely ignored
😂
The flxibles killed it in this and the 2000 NJT MCI 7502 they was the stars of this show frfr and a flxible on the 87 I haven’t seen that in 12 years frfr
Love those SDM fishbowls. Glad to the the CC fishbowl. Great memories.😌👍🏾
Somehow this popped up in my feed, I'm not even from the US, but I love buses, such a good footage You got here, greetings from Venezuela
@6:04 pure sound. Long life RTS!!!!!!!
di luar negeri ternyata ada bus mania juga 😂
@6:04 is when it hit the heart for me. Hearing that Detroit Diesel ramping up in the gone but not forgotten TMC/RTS Bus. Good memories. Good video find.
My god I am a fan of your channel and I too was there. I had a feeling the UA-cam channels would be there. Lol I took a video too but never uploaded it except one inside the eagle Bus.
Thank you so much bro
I was surprised to see that there is Irizar in the USA, very cool video congratulations!!!
Excellent video bro! I'm happy that everyone had a great time either reliving the memories, seeing most of the historic buses for the first time and just congregate amongst family and friends when viewing these buses. Shout out to all who maintain, preserve and those who personally own a bus or buses. By the way, it's ALL about the Flxible Metros mean lean. Give props to the driver of getting that lean in with ex- NJT MCI #7502
LMAOOOO, THAT WAS ME!!! THANKS FOR THE PROPS!!!
@@katrinawade7708 excellent lean and flooring it!
Appreciate it!
That Flxble Flxliner was my favorite! She sounded extremely healthy! He ran that DD 6-71N up to the governor and shifted like a boss! I'd love to drive this one!
The UPS Man did not respect that man's Authority
The CTA Flxible Metros were the best, nice to see a variety of them here!
Love how they got mad at the ups like he won't deliver their packages to the wrong house on purpose ☠️
American just get6 mad at other people for no reason, the UPS van driver did nothing wrong. It's official! All Americans getting mad at drivers for no reason, they even call them name for no reason.
I bet all American men swear constantly in public, even in front of young children.
How dare there be UPS truck on this road and how dare it not drive right into this bus poking into its lane.
@@Dreadwin69 The road isn't even closed, so everyone is allowed to drive on this road.
Why do American yell and scold other people when they've done nothing wrong. That's also why I'm glad I wasn't born in the US.
Flexies SWINGING.
Outstanding. Nice video. Brings back my youth with some of those Public Service buses
Most of these buses were my main rides out of Port Authority
I can’t believe I missed this! Great Idea with the mobile command buses. I would have done the same! I have to see the next one. I like seeing the old school buses.
I love buses, so happy I found your channel!!
At least some one saved that Orion westchester bus 💯💯
Trailways Eagle... beautiful. Go Big Red!
Loved this video. New Looks, Old Looks, so nice to see!
I bet those buses smelled good when they rolled by.
This was quite cool!! Love the content. I'm from Jamaica. We had a handful of old buses mainly from Leyland, now DAF from England. Continuing the Europe trend we now use mostly VDL buses from Belgium, with the bus/coach body being mostly VDL Mistral, Jonckheere and Transit and engine mostly being Volvo B12B, B7R, B12MA/B340MA...
That last one hella leaning a swinging it 🤣
The way that old Grumman bus was rocking back n forth! Wow!,,
The MTA RTS bus was my childhood to adulthood at 15:36.
I still regularly get an MCI 7XXX series bus in or out of NYC on my route. Many of these are historic, but many of these are in regular service due to underfunding by a former governor of NJ.
I didn't know such an event existed! Really cool footage!
Where is this? -- what street?
Applause from Argentina 🏆
MCI G series at 0:24. Very short lived bus. I think Greyhound still has some in service
I must say....I am SUPER impressed!!!
I love it Good job on NJ bus 🚌
I never knew how cool some busses looked👍
Screaming Detroit!!!
Wait is that a MTA rts??? sheesh haven't seen those run for a while
Yes it is
Yes it is, the one in the thumbnail is an NJT RTS bus. The reason why you haven’t seen those run in a while is because MTA’s RTS buses have all been retired since 2019.
@@kalelc1996 Hey Kal-El! It’s an honor to have you comment on one of my videos, huge fan. :)
@@njbusguy779 Yeah but man that was cool
@@njbusguy779 😂 pleasure is all mine
I remember riding those old GM's and GM 'new look' buses as a kid, in collage and into an adult from the 1960's to the early 1980's. Some of the GM New Looks were used by the 'Warwick Stage' lines that ran from Warwick, NY to NYC and went through my home town (taken over by NJT, used on the 196-197 routes today). They had stick shifts due to hills they had to go over on the upper part of their routes. They were pretty quick with the sticks. Also cool to see the old Trailways coaches as well.
They still used those as back up buses where I lived in the early 90's, they had thick foam comfy seats and a smooth ride, it was actually enjoyable unlike the buses today with hard plastic seats.
The green bus with the orange stripe below the windows is from Philadelphia.
I really loved all those busus. And the old school rts 2s.
AWESOME VID. I enjoyed everything from the beginning to the end 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Just stumbled across this video. As a Brit, I have fond memories of riding buses in the USA during the '80s and 90s. I was a bit shocked by the hard plastic seats on most city buses, but the amazingly bouncy suspension made up for that. Most of all I was impressed by the ice cool aircon. Unfortunately, people here are too ambivalent about A/C to make it really effective
very beautiful these buses
That NYC RTS 5227 !!! one of my favorite buses to ride as a kid. craziest thing I am now a bus operator out of Jackie Gleason Depot !!!
14:24 is goated.
14:28 that bus looks like the one in the movie max speed!!
At 8:50 when they roast that UPS driver was funny AF lol
loved seeing the Trailways bus. A family relative used to drive for them back in the early 80s. Me and my cousin used to go on rides with him while he did his Philly to AC runs. And when he would take the bus back to the garage.
Nice video. Enjoyed the older buses. Nice GM fishbowl with stick. Probably some of the other MCIs were manual transmission, also.
very nice video love the ending music was just right love buses forever
this fantastic. from UK. not bus spotter but loved this. loved how some of the drivers have it the beans coming out the car park. how them old girls been driven when they in service
🤣 🤣 🤣! The bus driver @ 17:37 is crazy af!
ok but the dina looks beautiful 4:11
Been a fan of busses since I was a kid way back when we used to travel on the in Mexico. My dad always drove a bus for work so pretty safe to say that’s where it started for me. So many good memories I would try and make my way to talk to the driver and just sit Along them on any trip we took. I think the most memorable ones where traveling on them Volvo 9700s, Marco Polo 100s , older busscar, irisar i8, mci, and even some older Dina I cannot remember the type specifically but it was some good times. Also I was around 5-8 yrs old doing shit like this so crazy how the times go now I work on 737/8/9 ,e175s, crj 2/7/9 and even some airbus in there. I’m glad stuff like this exists would love to check it out sometime.
My first bus and coach video. Wow ! America. Awesome ! We have a different scene and mixture over here in Australia. European. Asian. Some Aussie manufacturers too. There are some fine vehicles in this video. Love those big Detroit Diesels etcetera.......
They are Pissed about that UPS truck
Once... just once I would like to drive one of those GM buses. There were everywhere at one point.
Ery kool video not really into busses. But it's neat seeing them all together and making a thing out it. Kool to see the interest in it
Very beautiful 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Kool Bus show 👏👏👏👏👏👏
i was born in Raritan NJ 82’ right across from NJT locomotive shop. that bus was a smack to the face of ol memories 😁✌🏻

Typical New Jersey reaction to the UPS guy blocking the view LMAOO!
the last guy was whipping that bus omg!
Great video! Wish there was some GMC 4905 buses there.
Great video 😃, many of those buses looks great in special the one at 5:40 and 17:30
Very cool I used to ride Njt buses when I work for them
That was truly enjoyable
I still miss the RTS bus on the B41 and B44 and B45 and B46 line in Brooklyn New York it was part of my childhood 😢 😔 💯💯💯
Awsome video!
Thank you my dude!
Those 2004s were the best 🔥🔥
Je préfère les plus vieux mais c’est du beau matériel.
Awesome beasts from the UK
As someone who is a car enthusiast to the core I find this sort of thing overwhelmingly cute.
That was awesome!
I saw two buses from VA on here the Dash bus that was City of Alexandria VA bus and another I'm loving this and the old Fishbowl buses also I love them too
