So, today was a very interesting day. As I was going about my business - checking tank parameters, feeding and checking my moms discus - I saw something very surprising 👀
Baby L397s everywhere and I was not even aware that they had bred at all!!!

Our first pleco spawn was actually laid an hatched in a hang on the back filter. Lol😂 i was heart broken that one of our males where missing but nope he was just being a good dad.

Oh my gosh, those tiny babies are so adorable. My pleco was about this size when I first got him a few yrs ago, he's huge now.

I had 1 before that lived 22 years, his name was Nautilus. The 1 I have now I call Augie, I got him in August. What is their lifespan in captivity ? I almost forgot to say congrats on your babies, wonderful surprise !! 💖 The 1 I have now is similar colors and markings. Thank you. ❤ 💯😻
