Jerami Grant’s defensive rating is worse than Rui’s. Rui has a much better career shooting percentage. It’s crazy that we are even contemplating this trade. Isaac Ocoro??? Really??
That only bc rui is a 4th or 5th option on the Laker and he wasn’t even really a option on the wizard I rather have grant cus he better overall player I think his defense will probably be better since u have Ad and vando on the team
@bryanlouis4669 Grant is name only. He's declined since he's been with the Blazers. You mentioned defensively Rui is considered a 4 or 5th option? That's what Grant will be...I would rather keep Rui on a cheaper contract, younger and can fit better than Grant, who mind you stated he didn't want to be a third option, his athleticism is slipping and his contract is still BAD despite of the soon to be increase in NBA salaries...tires of the constant trade rumors...it's getting downright silly now....

I don’t think grant defense really decline a lot I just think he focus more on his offense since he been a main scorer for his team. playing with AD or vando I think he could go back on being a decent to good defender. Rui hasn’t shown much to me unless us laker fan think potentially he could be great cause right now I would trade him.
